Really beautiful and delicious macarons. A few of mine were pretty dry and one was too wet. The pistachio and the rose were my favorite.
If you have the option of ordering for delivery that might be best (or have someone drop you off in front of the store) because the area is really not that great and I got harassed by multiple men when I was walking to/from my car. The area needs some cleanup, it's really unfortunate because this is such a beautiful bakery.

The chocolate peppermint loaf slice was divine- not too sweet, great flavor, and the perfect texture. I also love the macarons, which come packed in beautiful boxes, making them a great gift for friends and family. The keychain is also cute and fun.

We dined in Saturday morning. The pistachio macaron was stunning, the guava one didn't have a lot of flavor. The muffin was crispy on the outside, soft within - a very unusual texture, but I liked it. The lemon tart was amazing. Coffee was good too

I was so happy to see a macaroon place near my work but when I ate my macaroons they tasted old and dried out. They were almost hollow. I am a huge macaroon fan but these were over priced and bad. The atmosphere was empty and the prices… $8 for a small coconut water… you are literally across the street from skid row and you have $8 water. I was just all over disappointed that I wasted my money on such bad treats.

Second time this week we have been at this location to get the special dairy free and gluten free desserts that my daughter wanted for Halloween. We came before the holiday when they were closed and they aren’t open on Halloween even though they make specialty Halloween desserts. So we wasted that entire day as we are not from the area so we decided to enjoy the neighborhood a bit before going home.Now today we come back when they are supposed open so I can finally get my daughter these desserts that she can actually have and is dying to try.Guess what happened… they aren’t open again. So I’ve now wasted two trips and have nothing for my poor daughter who isn’t able to enjoy normal Halloween candy like most kids.She’s extremely bummed out and I feel terrible for having promised her something that isn’t possible to get.Extremely disappointed in this business and the ownership for letting this situation even be a possibility and I hope this review will ensure that no other children will have their holidays ruined in the future.We will not be returning.

I didn't visit the bakery itself but ordered macarons to be delivered to San Diego. Absolutely wonderful flavors and texture, also gorgeous cookies! I never thought I'd eat a macaron again as a vegan. These will be a go to for special occasions for sure! Shipping was just as expected and macarons arrived in good shape. I really appreciated the packaging tells how long you can store at room temp, in the refrigerator, or frozen. It seemed like the bakery really thought of everything.

I saw Verón Macarons featured on VegNews and decided to gift myself a box of macarons and have it shipped to me at my doorstep. (It’s self care ?) Yay for nationwide shipping!!
These macarons did not disappoint. I tried an ‘Everything’ box which had a good variety of flavors. Though we found them to be a little dry (hence docked a star), we enjoyed them. Especially liked the more botanical-flavored macarons - the lavender, Earl Gray and rose were my favorites.
Good packaging and the macarons arrived undamaged. I would order again!

I ordered an assorted box for my partner and he ate them all in one day! He said they’re very light and airy, giving them a great texture. The pistachio, lemon, and blueberry flavors were his favorite.
