Didn’t eat while I was there, but the bartender was great, The drink options were great, the atmosphere was great, and I love all of the outdoor seating.Parking: You can almost always get street parking within a block.

Great beer selection, have usually had a great time here. However, the last time I went there was a patron who would not screaming at the absolute top of her lungs about once every five minutes. This is at 8pm on a Monday. The bartender came over and said "It's okay, she's a bartender and that's her laugh". Press X to doubt. Had to leave because it was so grating and probably won't be going back for a while after that.

Was here for the first time a couple of weeks ago, great tap list and great service. I was lucky enough to snag the last pour of Pliny! Next time I'm trying the cocktails. Overall I had a good experience and it's a chill vibe.

Great local bar! The staff is always welcoming and helpful. We love Daphne, Arleth, Sidney, and Yaell. Great place to come for Happy Hour and enjoy the sunset on the patio.

Funky hip joint in a unsuspecting neighborhood. Saw some celebs in the wild here but won't mention names so people don't go hunting them down.Nice big open space to meet with friends or make new ones. The menus for food is magic but not the food. Had the chicken fingers and man they were delicious! Only down side is the parking. Take the gamble to drive or just take an Uber and be responsible. Overall a cool spot!

Verdugo is a cool watering hole. I like comedy night on Sunday. It's free and the comics the variety of comics will get you laughing.
Cool spot. Rude bar tenders. I went for the Manila Sounds event and the female bar tender literally ignored us twice and served people who came significantly after us. It wasn’t until the male bar tender asked if we’d been helped yet that we got served. I think he realized what happened and so he was super nice to compensate I guess.

I organize a monthly event at the Verdugo Bar, so I am there on a regular basis. I love how big their outdoor area is: there is always plenty of space to sit down and chat. Great beer, cider, and cocktail selection, and the staff is both friendly and efficient. The taco stand outside is good and well-priced.

When I first moved here to Mount Washington, I would drive by this place in the evening, and it looked like such a cool place. Now I've been a few times and it's great! There's a dark cozy bar or if you want to hang outside and listen to music there's that and then there's another place outside when you can actually sit around with your friends and play cards or games! That's what got me.

This is a bar that's easy to miss. It's on the corner, in a neighborhood, but also not...it's obscured by trees and ivy and it's just a little off the main road. Those who know this place know how fun it is and how memorable it can be. I came here on a cold November night. It rained lightly while we sat outside and it didn't disrupt our fun. Verdugo Bar is a classic. They have a famous curvy vintage bar along with these leather curved booths from another time. String lights give the place a nice glow. You order drinks at the bar and everyone behind there is super nice. They have a great selection of beers on tap and canned/bottled. They also have a collection of signature cocktails. The highlight of this particular visit was the Pina Colada. It's premade and comes out of a slushee machine. The alcohol is strong, but still has all the sweet flavor you expect. They also have a similar drink which is dole whip with mezcal. Imagine a perfect summer day at Disneyland with a smoky aftertaste. Finding a seat isn't much of a problem because they have a giant outdoor seating area. The walls are covered in signs of all the beers they've served over the years. Perfect spot to play board games or just catch up with friends. They have a window in the back where pop ups can set up shop. On this particular night, they had a slider and hot dog pop up show up. The old LA vibes outside and inside don't just make this any watering hole. When we pulled up I couldn't remember if I had been here before. Walking out to the back patio, I almost tripped on the little ramp that lead out there. It all came rushing back, I did the same thing 10 years ago. Come here for a drink or two and you'll remember it forever.
