Great atmosphere, too bad for all the laptop squatters. There’s a few spots on the terrace (seating) which is lovely. You can order a flat white but they don’t offer ristretto shots/short pull, is this an LA thing? Not the first (or dare I say the last) “coffee roaster” house with employees that have no idea what I’m talking about/think they can attempt it with an classic espresso bunt —thank you but no thanks… so I moved on to a simple cafe...

Verve Coffee on 3rd Street is one of those rare spots that manages to feel like both a destination and a neighborhood staple. The space is airy and modern but still somehow warm, with great natural light that makes it perfect for a solo recharge, catching up with a friend, or pretending to work on your laptop while people-watching. It walks that fine LA line between laid-back and design-forward—and nails it.
