Any small place with various weekday night specials wins my heart. Fish tacos on Wednesdays is my jam here. Two fish tacos and a side of fries under $10!!! You're winning win you eat here. Staff is nice and the atmosphere is laid back.

Their food is so delicious!! This was our second time coming to this area and we make sure to stop by for their lunch. They have a special every day!! The asada tacos are their every day special. We also had their calamari rings for $8. Crisp outside and chewy inside. Not stringy at all; very fresh and clean!! Their horchata (not pictured) was good, too with a taste of cinnamon. We finished it so no pic. I have to come back to try their pictured seafood soup called vuelve de la vida "gumbo" for $14. The people are nice and friendly, too, so please support their small business!!

We decided to have lunch here after walking by and seeing their pretty patio. We ordered the ceviche ($15 after adding mango and avocado) and the two fish tacos (Wednesday special: $2.50 each), as well as a Tamarindo Agua Fresca. Both of us were blown away. Our meal was so good that we kept smiling and laughing in disbelief at how lucky we were to have randomly decided to go in, knowing nothing about it. We're very grateful to whoever was working in the kitchen today (08/23/23). They cooked the fish masterfully. Everything was so fresh and we felt so good and energized afterwards. A serious gem of highland park. Everyone was sweet too. Such a delightful experience.
We ordered two hamburger and fries with a coke combinations. Thirty minutes later both of our stomachs were cramping. We won't be going back there.

Okay, so I decided to try this place out since I was craving shrimp tacos. First off, the only parking available I saw was on the street and not too much of it. We ordered their shrimp tacos, fish tacos, tostada de ceviche de camarón(shrimp ceviche), calamari rings, and fries. When our order came out, it was missing two tostada de camarón, which we initially thought they hadn't charged us for because the receipt does not specify the exact quantity of the items we had ordered. I then went to place an order for the 2 missing tostadas and finally realized when comparing receipts, they had actually charged me the tostadas the first time, but they never gave them to me. The girl at the register offered to refund me for the two tostadas I had bought a second time, which I was like, okay, thanks. When she gave me cash as a refund, she gave me less than what the total was?? The total was 16 and changed, and she refunded me 15 exactly. The tacos had good flavor and were of decent size. The ceviche was bland, no flavor at all, and didn't even taste like lime juice. The calamari was okay, and so were the fries. Overall, it was not a good first experience on both sevice and food. I won't be returning any time soon.

My friend recommended it.We ordered the tilapia plate was ok also salmon and shrimp plate the shrimp was like rubber as well as mixed cocktail no flavor. No Bueno.
