This location is closed for good. Please go to the Silverlake location "Indochine Vien". Thank you!

PLEASE DONT CLOSE, WE LOVE YOU! Have been coming here for 6 years and went in recently to see a sign saying they will be closing at the end of this month. This breaks my heart seeing you go, you've been a staple for my partner and I in our little area and always enjoyed little date nights and grabbing take out. Wish you all the best ... we will just have to take mini adventures to your other location.

Tried this place twice. First time had pho and it was ok and a few appetizers, couldn't remember and it was ok. Came back and had the vermicelli and it was bad. The noodles were obviously old/stale as if had been sitting out all day or made the day before because it was dry, dense and rubbery. For a dish in which you it the noodles fresh and not in a soup, it was terrible. The water had an odd taste to it. I couldn't pinpoint if it was supposed to be flavored or just bad tasting water, worse than Dasani. 10-15min away is Nong La on La Brea and their food is consistently good and much fresher.

Decent bowl of Pho and good spring rolls.

Best vegetarian pho!! I think this the only veggie pho that can actually encourage eating veggies.

I need to go back with my brother and let him try the banh mi from here. That baguette bread was toasted in an oven and I'm pretty sure the Vietnamese pork is heated up on a cast iron. Already two good signs right there, bread is then sliced hot and filled with all the toppings, fresh chopped cilantro, pickled veggies, etc. and wallah a perfect banh mi. This is how it's supposed to be done! There's a 50 in tv inside if you want to watch sports or whatever. The guy is really cool, he will probably give you the remote and have a conversation with you about the dodges or something lol. I haven't tried anything else other than the banh here so I'm considering going back and getting the banh mi along with some pho. Maybe an appetizer or two depending on what's popular :)

Was unsure if this was a place I wanted to eat at first, but by not judging a book by its cover (the building, location and odd interior setup)...the food was AMAZING. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially after I spilt water all over myself (fail). Will definitely be back as delicious spring rolls and pho on a cold day is a 10/10 life experience. Thanks!!

The ambience is lacking but the broth definitely makes up for it! Come here for a quick and delicious meal and expect great pho.

Wow guys. A pho place that suits me. I was craving for a pho last night and everything was amazing! For 2 vegan people,we have ordered VEGETARIAN PHO-how could this be super good? I substituted brown rice noodles for the Vermicelli and it's a healthier choice. The aromatic Vietnamese basil made it way more interesting. Not exaggerating but I was full before we got to the dessert. Lol. VEGETARIAN GOI CUON-tofu spring rolls dipped in their Vietnamese peanut sauce. Impressive! BANH XEO-Vietnamese Crepe with Tofu-get this! CRISPY VIETNAMESE BANANA FRITTERS-similar to my Filipino Turon but in a fancy way because it's lightly fried topped with cinnamon and chocolate. Btw,these were delivered and I would visit the place soon!

My go-to spot! I've tried tons of Vietnamese places but this place just has the best pho. And tons of it -I always end up taking some home to enjoy. The staff are very friendly and the place is nicely lit. The food just tastes great. Ordering for pick up is great too-fast service and delicious food!

It really looks low key and honestly I wouldn't have entered if I hadn't read so many good reviews. But the food was really yummy!

Restaurant was a little bare bones, but the food was good.

The food here is amazing and I would classify this as a hidden gem, but also compare the dining experience to that of a dive bar. It's nothing special inside, but if you're looking for a friendly staff and great food and don't care about ambiance this is the place to go. We had the chicken egg rolls to start which were delicious. The Vietnamese Thai coffee was amazing. I had the pho that had lots of meat types and brought half home. Overall - I will def be back whether for takeout or to dine.

Believe the poorer reviews. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt because it's fairly close to our home and the Yelp reviews were pretty high in general. Unfortunately, the poor reviews were the accurate ones: (1) Service. I really don't care that much about service in general if the food is good, and I don't expect the waitstaff to be effusive. However, our server just didn't really seem to care about customer service and/or want to be doing what he was doing. Curt in response, unfriendly in demeanor. Had cilantro that found its way into my husband's water - was met with a curt "oh, sorry" and a swap of another water glass. When he was walking over with the new glass, he saw that I pushed my glass towards my husband (because I wanted to share my water with him as he was waiting for his), the waiter took it as something else was wrong. So, his first words were, "is there something wrong with that too?" (but not in a "let me fix it right away" tone, more of a "ugh, I have to get you clean water too?"). Cue eye roll. (2) Food. I had the Pho Tai Bo Vien. Everything about this absolutely meh. The steak was chewy, the soup was bland, and it really was nothing to write home about. Husband had a rice noodle dish. Forgot which one, but the noodles were very clearly refrigerated prior to serving. The noodles were stuck in the shape of the bowl and adhered to the sides. The texture was awful and more evidence of refrigerated noodles. No flavor as well. Definitely won't be back - both the service and the food left way more to be desired.
