Is it too cliche to call this a hidden gem? Amazing handmade yellow tortilla quesadillas with ALL THE FIXINS (beans, crema, cotija, grilled onions, jalapeños, etc.) Haven’t tried the meats but love the vegetarian options - mushroom and squash flower. Great selection of salsa. Free grilled onions and some kind of salad (often nopales).
Pretty solid place, with good prices and a lot of seating! I ordered a super burrito and used the $2 off by checking in on yelp, and my friend got the shrimp tacos. Overall, a nice place to go to if I'm nearby but for me not really worth it to go out of my way to eat.I enjoyed the salsa bar, but even the hottest salsas weren't as spicy as I thought they would be.
