I had the nopales and frijoles taco with the blue handmade tortilla and the soy rizo with pineapple on a blue corn tortilla as well. Personally the soy rizo was my favorite it was pretty good. They vegan options are an always a plus for me. The nopales had a good flavor.Now , what was a let down for me was how messy the tacos were. To the point where the filling falls out and half of it spills out of your taco. The nopal taco was also really wet and my tortilla got mushy. I don’t know how I feel about that. Personal preference I like my tacos a little less messy and mushy. So I ended up eating the rest with a fork. I don’t want to eat tacos with a fork. The counter people were also kinda subpar. Not very helpful and you ask for utensils and salsa cups and they seem annoyed. So I have to say in the end… this place has a good product with potential for more. Fine tuning.

Figured I would write a review after eating here multiple times a week for a couple years. These are the best tacos in Los Angeles. Always high quality and always delicious. The staff is always excellent and everything is always positive. Wishing them all nothing but the best!

I was skeptical about this place at first, I thought maybe it could just be a tiktok trend. I was wrong, the tacos are just as deliciously chaotic as they look!
I was praying that ole boy who wiped his nose with his black gloves and kept doing it was not the one handling my tacos... the handles of the salsa kept falling into random salsas. Sis came in from outside with long nails dipping into the salsas... I tasted the tacos, but couldn't enjoy nothing due to the unsanitary conditions, especially ole boy who knew I was watching him. That's 20 something dollars and 30 minutes wasted. This place is for a younger crowd who are cool with communal dining. Hard pass for me. The guy at the register was an angel... polite, professional, and social..

The hype is fully deserved! I appreciate Villa’s Tacos so much for offering vegan options that aren’t just rice and beans, and what’s even better is that their vegan tacos are the best I’ve had in LA, which is really saying something! The agua fresca is great too
