Excellent food and service. Thank you!
A charming little bistro in Westwood.
Great ambiance and decent service.

California-French farm to table fusion at its best! The meal consisted of California influences with French technique and flair. Yum-o'licious! Our waitstaff was sweet and personable. We enjoyed the authentically cozy ambiance that transported us to France.

Violet L.A. offers a charming and stylish ambiance, reminiscent of a movie scene. The food is excellent, featuring standout dishes such as steak au poivre, perfectly cooked salmon, and delicious offerings like snap pea salad and curry roasted cauliflower. The menu also includes remarkable scallops and duck, which many guests find incredible. The restaurant exudes great energy, with a lovely patio, and has a strong wine list, making it a bright spot in West LA. The front of the house staff is known to be warm, friendly, and accommodating, although some guests have noted that the service can be inconsistent, particularly with certain waitstaff. While the overall experience leaves many eager to return, there can be moments where guests feel overlooked or excluded, especially during special occasions. For those celebrating anniversaries or birthdays, some tables receive special attention that others may miss. Violet L.A. is a favorite for its fresh ingredients and tasty offerings, although some diners feel the prices are on the higher side. For a memorable dining experience, especially for a date night, the quiet atmosphere allows for enjoyable conversation, and guests are encouraged to try the desserts.
