Very unprofessional customer service. Came in there was no customers and the women there were just yapping and yapping. They saw me come in but I had to wait until their conversation was over so they could acknowledge and take my order. No acknowledging of customers. Too deep in their conversations.

Lady work at Winchell's donut Sha have super bad attitude Oscar do you have any fresh donuts time was 1.25 am plain old fashioned I I request for one she give me a old one is a cold like a ice take from my hand and put in a microwave and give back to me. Second one I asked for Carson plane exactly same as same old one she put in a microwave that's the way it's Winchell's donut taking care of the customer lies. This Winchell's donut store is a disaster. Baytown lies to the customer and give the customer to expire food

The donuts were great and the service was friendly. Tried a couple of bagel sandwiches that were excellent.

Thank you Winchell's for your kind service and delightful donut. Your fresh donuts provided great and satisfying sweet tooth. As well in most important times of need. May God bless your staff and donut shop. 🩷
The donuts are good. Only rated 4/5 because the donuts are pretty much what you would expect from any donut shop and nothing particularly special--but reliability is good!!
If you don't speak Spanish, there is a bit of a language barrier, but we got through by pointing, thumbs-upping, and counting on our fingers. Only downside was that we didn't get *exactly* what we thought we were ordering (e.g. maple donut when we thought we were ordering plain glazed) but this was due to language differences and not anybody's fault.
VERY good prices. I'd recommend!
Bad service
It's not amazing, but not the worst. Just don't get their eggs. I wonder how many people they give food poisoning to. They leave a pitcher of eggs unrefrigerated on the counter EVERY time I'm there

I went late around 12am to get some donuts for the next day. The lady at the counter was a bit slow and seem annoyed. Other than that it was business as usual

I mean it's a very basic coffeehouse experience but not in a negative way. Service on the handful of occasions here has been quick.
In fact, I must admit my last experience I ordered a coffee and donut and was freaking out internally having not felt my wallet anywhere on my persons. The worker saw me searching around (found it in my backpack) and just left donut and coffee in front of me and went on to someone else's more difficult order than came back to ring me up. That was just a kind feeling and such a rare one I would never have expected.
Location is small I recall about four tables most usually accommodated. Unlike other locations I didn't notice homeless people loitering inside (outside yes) so that way a positive considering Winchell's on I believe it is 7th St and Hoover? That has a permanent homeless residency inside store.
