Be sure to ask about seasonal pies. We had the staples, those were amazing, three minis, first the cherry; not too sweet not too tart but just deliciously right, next the chocolate cowgirl generated that taste bud tingle, so good. Lastly, the apple, which made it all the way home, (the other two eaten on the drive), received a warm up in toaster oven then a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. Such a great treat the taste bud hasn't stopped yet.
Probably some of the best pie I’ve had in Los Angeles. I had the pecan, which is the best seller and the apple pie. What makes the apple pie special is how it’s not too sweet, and the crust is buttery. Definitely overpriced, but hey, it’s Brentwood and I don’t mind because it’s so high-quality.
Winston Pies nails the neighborhood bakery vibe with standout service every single time — warm, quick, and genuinely kind. The pies? When they’re good, they’re really good. A few have missed the mark, but more often than not, they deliver that buttery, nostalgic magic you’re hoping for. It’s the kind of place you pop into “just to look” and leave with two slices and no regrets. Solid spot that earns its stripes (and its sugar).
