I have seen this truck at a few events and since the line wasn’t long just yet, tonight, my family and I made a beeline. The gal taking orders seemed to not hear a word I said despite me speaking pretty clearly, and she kept dryly repeating her questions. I order 2 kids meals and an order of ribs. I pay and wait. While the order was fairly swift, the hand off was kind of rude, with the chef shoving the food in my hand, sending onions flying everywhere. He rushes off bidding a begrudging adeu and going back out of sight before I can tell him I bought 2 kids meals not one. I also notice the brisket sandwich has no bbq sauce. When I finally get his attention a few minutes later, I explain the missing item and ask if he can also give bbq since the sandwich didn’t have any. He responds irritated and hurried that the kids sandwiches don’t come with sauce. How am I supposed to know that? And why am I being treated like an inconvenience when one of the kids meals (which, $14 for a no bbq sauce having slider and some mac) is missing.

He goes away and I think he’s making the replacement. A few mins pass and then he calls me over and another lady appears and asks “what item were you missing?”, to which I have to reexplain. She was prb the nicest of the bunch but not nice enough for me to return to this truck. I spent $60 on 2 kids meals and 4 ribs (with no side other than bread) and no drinks. These are legitimately restaurant prices. Food trucks have lost the plot if they are kicking out expensive food with a nonexistent dining experience and bring rude on top of it.

The whole reason trucks were supposed to be affordable was bc we knew service was not a part of the deal. But you bet if I’m paying such a high price, I do expect a little better customer service than that.

Wise BBQ is amazing. The portions are huge— you’re definitely not leaving hungry. Everything tastes awesome and comes out super fresh.
And seriously, shoutout to Flo. She’s the best.
If you want great BBQ, big plates, and good vibes, Wise BBQ is the spot.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but today’s meal was genuinely disappointing and made me feel uncomfortable. I’ve never seen a BBQ place serve brisket in shredded form, which really made me question the quality of the ingredients. The meat was dry, lacking any juiciness, and the sauce felt overwhelming — so strong that it completely covered the natural flavor of the food. The sides also tasted like they had been prepared long in advance, and I never received the pickles that were supposed to come with the meal.

I’m a big fan of American BBQ, and objectively speaking, without even comparing it to Texas standards, this was the worst BBQ I’ve had in the Los Angeles area. Just an honest review.

I ordered a small brisket and Mac from this food truck for $18. It was ready as soon as I ordered, and I should’ve known something was off. It’s not hot at all and they put the food in a super small container, inside of a small container, inside of a medium container, inside of a large container. It feels like this was done to deceive people to think they bought more food than you actually did. I got all the way home and saw how small the serving size was. I’m highly disappointed. The flavor of everything is okay, but this does not feel worth the money.

Amazing BBQ meat !!. Mac is really soft . Always hot food when served. The lemonade is also sweet and theres many to pick from. I got my bowl at intuit dome and made the football game more fun . Thank you wise BBQ

This was the best BBQ I have ever had! Even better than bbq I had in Austin recently. I couldn’t stop eating it. Best Cole slaw, best Mac and cheese, corn bread, amazing pulled pork and bbq sauce. They totally crushed it. Yummy!!

Came on LA AFB. Closed well before 2pm. Which for mil folks is still lunch hour. Don’t come back unless you’re going to commit to actually being here.

The two meat combo is $32 but the quantity is adequate (even a giant slice of bread in there!) compared to other food trucks that have been here before.

Chicken was a little dry - BUT the brisket and pulled pork were solid and delicious.

Mac and cheese was hefty and savory, potato salad had the right flavors, and the beans actually had bbq meat mixed in so very tasteful.

If I have to be critical of the cornbread, it’s just that it was a tad on the dry side but it was genuinely pretty good esp. w/ that honey butter.

Overall really delicious and we’re content - if y’all come thru again we’ll try y’all’s ribs!

I got their food at the LA Fleet Week Memorial Day weekend. When checking my credit card statement I noticed that the prices they had on the truck were not what they were charging. Everything was $2-4 more expensive than advertise. Feels like a company taking advantage of the situation or trying to upcharge their food for the license to operate at the event. Really leaves a bad taste in your mouth, I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I highly recommend Wise BBQ Food Truck based on my personal experience. Their offerings are top-notch, and I strongly suggest checking them out. Don’t miss the opportunity to try their delicious barbecue

I left a glowing 5-star review a few weeks ago, but after returning recently, I was really disappointed. The customer service from the young woman taking orders was terrible—she didn’t acknowledge us, didn’t say a single word, just nodded her head. It felt awkward and unwelcoming, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning again because of the customer service and prices.

10/10 food was so good! My job got this catered for an event and the food was good! The Mac and cheese is probably one of the best I’ve tasted

They don't deserve 2 stars.They deserve negative stars i'm so Surprised.They haven't took them out of business everything it's so pricey and if you wanna get a cup of ice , it's a dollar not even Starbucks does that . And the girl that was taking our order was so rude on the manager ... Do not Come here unless you like rude people .

Rude Rude... They were confused as to what I order and then gave me only drinks and I asked for the rest of my order and the man was so rude and load telling me I cancelled all my order but yet I had my drinks still in my hand.. Like what?!
