This is THE SPOT to kick a cold or amp up your immune system. Super strong spicy flavor and the numbing effect seems to help it go away after - almost like wasabi. Lots of fresh ingredients to choose from. The service was also great - super fast and helpful. It is on the expensive side depending on how much you get - just have to watch the weight if you don’t want to spend too much. This place is definitely an experience!

Wok Bar is all fired up in the heart of LA’s Koreatown neighborhood, with the freshest ingredients to choose from and customize for your Malatang, be it in hotpot soup form or dry hot pot, AND so many flavorful dishes to choose from, including our favorite sweet and sour pork with the crispiest batter and even meat skewers that are always a hit🙌🏼

I love malatang and didn't expect to find such a good place in Koreatown. Both hot pot and dry pot are priced by weight and they cost the same. It came to around $20-25 a bowl putting in everything I wanted (and one bowl last me 2 meals).
I really like the flavor of the finished bowl. I went for the lowest possible spicy level and it's doable. The good thing was that it didn't reduce other flavor, just the spice. The dry pot was much more spicy...
