We’ve tried this place a few times, and unfortunately they’re losing the quality they used to have. The Philadelphia roll tasted off, and I had to send it back. The crispy Brussels sprouts were also disappointing, overly oily and burnt. I really hope they bring the quality back to what it once was.

Large portions for good price, nothing amazing but can't go wrong eating here. Service was great.

I used to live in the same block as Wokcano, and I’d order food from here all the time. Their crab wontons are superb. I love most of their dishes. It’s a good venue for dine in as well!

First time visit, it was a beautiful establishment. The servers are wonderful and the food is amazing. I highly recommend this place. I don't like crowds so it was perfect for lunch I'm sure this place would been super busy for the night life.

I went to the Downtown LA restaurant yesterday to pick up a togo order. There was a person outside standing in the doorway entry blocking it, talking on her cell phone. I was able to move past her, open the door, and approach the hostess desk. The hostess completely ignored me and then drew her attention to the woman who was standing in the doorway behind me and proceeded to talk with her and walk her to a table in the restaurant. It wasn’t until after she turned her back on me that she finally acknowledged me (no visual contact at all) then another 5 minutes before she came back to assist with my togo order, which I could visibly see behind the woman’s station. If only the hostess would have said hello when I walked into Wokcano to begin with, I wouldn't be leaving this negative review. Your food is great, delicious and worth the drive to 7th Street downtown LA, despite the homelessness issues in front, but your rude employee at the front who ignores customers is not!
My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant last weekend and had so much fun! There was a photographer that day, and we got some really great pictures. The food was very good, the staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderful. I’d definitely recommend this place! ❤️

I ordered food last night from Wackano and it was one of the worst experiences I ever had in my life Sherly after finishing my food I had a pulsating headache and it would not go away for hours shortly there after my daughter came home. She ate as well. She laid down to go to bed and woke up within an hour with a very excruciating headache so today I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager. He listened to everything I had to say about my concerns of possible MSG and he told me that they do use MSG and most of their foods and even some of their foods come with MSG in it when I explain to him about our headaches he did not apologize. He didn’t say I’m sorry for that happening to you. He just simply listened and said yeah our food has MSG in it so for that reason is why I’m writing this review. I’m very disappointed with the restaurant and I don’t know if I’ll ever go back so please be aware the restaurants are putting chemicals in your food that you have no idea until the damage is already done.

Great Sushi spot. They have some signature Wokcano sushi rolls.
I was looking for a quit spot to dine alone and stopped in. The server was great in bringing me a menu and then getting my order. I tried the Truffle sushi roll. I love seaweed salad and the fact it was on the menu.
Sushi, seaweed salad, non alchoholic Stella rosa, and some french music in my earbud turned into a pleasantly laid back solo dinner out.

Not fancy, but a great place to have happy hour. Tasty food, cold beer, and the service was excellent. Genuinely sweet people at the bar made the vibe just right.

Says it closes at 11pm but they turn people away before 10:30. Drove 40 mins just to be told we couldn’t be seated because the kitchen closed… that’s unacceptable or at least update your store hours to reflect it !!! This way you won’t have hungry people standing outside.
Haven’t been to Wokcano in 10 years. Still great service, great food and a great staff.
Arrived to a warm welcoming greeting, although they were busy. The crab wonton and shrimp fried rice is a must have!
Happy hour is the best time to grab a drink and some yummy food. It’s from 3 to 7 PM.
