Super solid KBBQ in the middle of it all. Solid pricing and delicious food (high marks for bean soup, corn-cheese and kimchi fried rice)
They have attentive and lovely staff (thanks Mr Kim!) They even have great prices on bottles of wine.

Had dinner at Woo Hyang Woo and overall it was a really solid experience. The meat was high quality, super tasty, and the staff was friendly and on top of things.

The only downside was the grilled shrimp, it came out a bit overcooked and dry, which was disappointing compared to how good everything else was.

Still, I’d definitely come back. Just hoping next time the shrimp gets the same love as the rest of the meal!

Came here for the first time to celebrate a birthday as kbbq brisket is one of her favorites. They have a $27.99 per person weekend/evening AYCE beef brisket special which includes an order of their soy pork spare ribs. (During the weekdays, they have the same special for lunch at $22.99 per person). The quality of the brisket was good. I think they use a prime cut. Alongside the meats, they served banchan including pickles, kim chee, potato salad, pickled radish/diakon and salad as well as a spicy soup. I think the banchan were okay (the salad has a bit of bitter lettuce stalk and the potato salad was just okay), but you come here for the meats and that did not disappoint. The interior is modern and clean, and the staff continued to check in with us and ordering more meat for us. Between two people, we had four plates of beef briskets for over an hour. They have a limit of 90 mins but on our weekend afternoon, it wasn't too busy and most groups were leaving around an hour. Parking is $10 at their lot (they include free parking for their weekday lunch) or it's $1/hr on the meter for two hours. Parking in the residential area can be difficult since it's at the heart of ktown but you might be lucky.

This is place is my girlfriend and I’s favorite date spot. We cannot recommend this place enough. The food is INCREDIBLE, the space is very well designed, and the staff is so friendly. ALEX IS OUR GUY!! He’s so kind, very thoughtful, and hilarious. We come on weekends just for the service, nothing compares. Best kbbq in the city 🫶🏾

We were looking for an option in Koreatown on the weekend but a couple other places we usually go had lines out the door. Finally settled on trying Woo Hyang Woo. I think it had it had just opened so we were able to easily grab a table.

It was odd to see the marked difference in service between other tables and ours. Since we spoke Korean and just ordered entrees instead of going with a full table BBQ, they put a lot more effort to engage with the European tourists because they were probably spending four times more on BBQ platters. Their cuts of beef looked marbled and sourced with quality.

The galbi was decent; flavorful and sweetly marinated but a bit tough and chewy. They did not have galbitang prepared so they offered hot beef noodles with rice vermicelli noodles. Banchan was solid and fresh. The food was mostly good.

I suppose what lingers is the bar-like service and ambience of the restaurant. It is probably a late night BBQ and soju spot and the dinner experience is probably better at this place. If you are having a hard time getting a table on the weekend, this place might be a good walk-in option.

Parking: Valet at Chapman Plaza for $10 or pray you can find street parking.
