I can’t believe others give this place 5 stars…food, service, atmosphere - all of it is just not good. I don’t understand how this place is still in business when there are so many good restaurants in LA.

The bar, restaurant space, and service were all very good! We had multiple servers stop by our table multiple times to check in and answer any questions. The vibe was very curated, but unfussy, and thankfully not pretentious!

The tasting menu was fantastic. Every dish was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We tried items from both the normal menu and the vegan menu, and all were executed wonderfully.

It would seem difficult to follow the main menu, but the desserts were somehow even better. We tried all 3 available desserts, and each was executed flawlessly. They were delicious and had the perfect balance of textures and flavors - not too sweet, with lots of additional flavor notes shining through. The vegan mille feuille was remarkable and impressive - highly recommended, even for non vegans! I would come back just for this!

Overall we had a fantastic time. Well worth the price for a night out!

Vegetarian options: There was an entire vegan tasting menu, including dessert. Guests were encouraged to swap individual items between the normal and vegan tasting menus as well.

From the beautiful interior design to the delicious thoughtfully crafted menu, the workshop LA exceed my dining experience.

Let's first start with hospitality. Our lovely server Autumn was so knowledgeable about the menu and the ingredients that Chef-owner Michael Beckman thoughtfully curated with each dish. Gabriel, the host was so welcoming and warm as well.

Moving onto the food, wow wow wow. Each plate was so delicious. What I love about the menu is how chef and his team focus on the current, fresh and in season items making the menu taste intentional and special with every bite.

The ambience in this space is straight to the point -- instagram worthy with an inviting touch. From the center dining tables, to the private-like rounded cocoon areas to the private long 18 seat table upstair, there are plenty of seating options to choose from to enjoy your experience with any guest.

I absolutely look forward to coming back.

I’ve been wanting to come here since they opened last summer and last night we finally made it happen to celebrate my sister’s birthday! The space was beyond gorgeous, and the food was outstanding! It was so fun to sit in one of the cocoons! I can’t wait to come back and try more things off the menu! We had the crudo, squash soup, babaganoush, branzino, honey sponge cake and chocolate soufflé. Everything was mouth watering and delicious.

Good place to meet with friends over some food! Had no confusion with menu, they offer two tasting menu options Vegan or Omnivore, each has 4 dishes + desert, 2 of the dishes you can choose. 100$ price what is ok for the ok food you get. They also have add ons like pizza, scallops and etc for very reasonable price. Service was great, my friend was running late they set me down without him, waitress did her best to entertain me. I ordered pizza while i was waiting for my him and that was THE BEST dish i tried there :) everything else was ok, nothing special and i need to mention that desert “medovik” should not have sour cream, and lobster cream was like tasteless panna cotta (very strange). But over all great place to meet with friend over some food :) oh yea, parking was super easy!

Loved the vibe, the whole staff was very attentive. Food was interesting and delicious. We had the prix fixe which had perfect sized portions and was filling. The salmon and steak were cooked perfectly. The drinks were very pretty and clearly lots of attention to detail from the seating to the silverware. Would love to go again!

Inventive, delicious menu. Great cocktails, superb service, fun atmosphere. We didn’t get to try wines in this go-round, but we will be back! Thank you for a great dining experience!

I come for a dinner at workshop, the place was quite empty on my visit on tuesday night and the barmen told me that them more busy on the weekends. Any way the service was friendly and pro although i was the only person that he served, the cocktails that i order where great and tasty. I can say the same about the kitchen i had a few small portions and they where all tasty with nice plating. And the place it self got amazing interior design. I recommend to try it, and maybe on the weekends if youre looking for more vibe

I don’t really wanna book this restaurant again. Not much to say. One of the bad experiences I’ve had.
