Amazing experience, this is the only way I can describe our visit. I ordered the eggplant and my wife ordered the falafel. Food was as authentic as I remember it from my living and visiting the Middle East. we will definitely visit Yalla again.

I got to experience their salad with 50/50 Greek. Beautifully prepared and quick! I was super satisfied but will try the sandwich or rice bowl next time. Can never go wrong with Greek food! Yum! The workers were also very friendly and we enjoyed our food sitting on the grass. Loved the experience at Pagan Pride event.

First thing to Know is I am absolutely obsessed with Falafel. I am of Middle Eastern descent, and we take our Falafel seriously. I first had a Falafel Sandwich from the Yalla Truck at an event in Chinatown called Summer Nights. Awesome free event by the way. I have to admit it was AMAZING and sooo Good. They put this green sauce on it which has a strong Spicy Kick to it and OMG it was Freaking AMAZING !! The Falafel was SPOT on and to be REAL it was probably the best Falafel I had so far in the VALLEY. It's made like they do back home in the Old Country. If you love spicy you need to ask for the green sauce they put on it. It has such a kick to it and makes the Falafel even better. I love spicy food. Also, the guys working the truck were pretty freaking cool. Great service...I can't wait to try it again. Ask for the green sauce if you like spicy. So Great.

Tried it for the first time (food truck at my job) and chicken cabob was delicious. I had the rice bowl with chicken. Rice was bland, gritty and dry. Price was reasonable. Don't think I would get the rice again but would definitely try the chicken with something else.Thank you for the reply (Owner) and of course I will be back but no need to comp my meal. The chicken was delicious!

Not sure why the rating is 3.8 stars. I’ve been to the Middle East and Yalla truck’s food is truly authentic. By far the best food truck in the LA area. I love their food so much that I follow the IG account so I can frequently go to their events. Fresh, savory, exquisite dishes. I love their falafel bowl.

Happy to find this Mediterranean food truck at the LA convention center and food was good, maybe 3.5 stars, but definitely not worth $18.62. No prices listed, which seemed acknowledgement that the pricing was nuts and off-putting. Ordered greek salad with chicken shawarma, and was rather disappointed to discover hidden under all of the tasty bits on top was a bed of rather bland cabbage. The chicken was pretty good.

The owner reached out to me and refunded the overcharged items, so I'm updating my review score.
