It was okay. We were seated quickly, but the service was pretty slow. They had the button system but we'd press it and wait 3-4 times before a server came. They were nice though. For drinks we got the sweet potato latte and the banana mocha latte, which were good but not amazing. The Yellow House Sampler had a bunch of appetizers with ketchup, tartar sauce, and sweet and spicy sauce. None of them were fried too crispy and they got cold very quickly, especially since we're seated outside. We also ordered the Miso Mushroom Pasta without cheese and it was very creamy. The pasta was thick and needed more flavor. There was a lot of wood ear, and a couple shiitake slices. I wish that was more balanced would love to see even more mushroom variety.

If you want to try a cute Korean cafe in LA, this is the place to go! They have a wide variety for their menu so you can get kimbap, pasta, tteokbokki, you name it! The outside patio they have is perfect for sunny weather and makes for a great study spot as well. My favorite things to get were their miso mushroom carbonara and their fish cake stew!

not trying to be negative, just constructive criticism, because of course this is not a fancy restaurant, it has the vibe, but I shouldn't be so expecting of fancy restaurant, but more to the level of what they can do. The issues I had were they literally brought my appetizer out at the same time as my food. Like okay sir ? Even tho I asked for the popcorn chicken to be brought out before the pasta. The pasta was flaming hot , I took one bite and I had tears running down my face , waited 10 minutes before I can take another bite , that 10 minutes could've been the wait between my appetizer and pasta at least. I asked for a knife and they literally brought me a plastic knife, a whole a** restaurant and I get a plastic knife, seems a little off of the pasta is $20+ and other items that may require a knife as well. The Italian soda was 6/10, beware, the syrup gets stuck all in your straw and you are unable to slurp through the straw, you're better off just not using a straw at all. If you're in the back room , don't expect them to be coming to check on you often, just to drop off the water and your food and the bill. Even the party of 9 next to me was not happy and said this will be there last time here. Sorry , but for the amount of people I saw in here , which was quite a bit , and the prices of this food, I expected a lot more. S/o tik tok for bringing me here tho !

been coming here over the years and i always get the kimchi bacon pasta!i've tried kimchi pastas at various locations but yellow house has the best one.we also got the fried rice cake and sausage - the rice cakes were super crispy and the sauce was good but the sausages were a bit too salty for me.banana latte was pretty good - banana flavor isn't strong.peach tea was great, per usual (one free refill!) service wasn't great this particular day; all the workers seemed new. but usually service is pretty good.definitely will be back!

I'm so glad I got to check out Yellow House before their last day. Parking totally sucks (they have a tiny valet lot) but I was lucky enough to get meter street parking. The inside is so gorgeous and I love the different sections. I was seated in a cozy space next to a large tree. My friend and I ordered the miso mushroom pasta, kimchi bacon pasta, yellow house dukbokki, sweet potato latte, and hazelnut latte. I can see why the kimchi pasta is so popular! I usually don't like kimchi but the pasta was so good and had a little kick to it. The dukkboki was also very tasty and I love how it had an assortment of goodies. I especially liked the fried dumpling and seaweed roll. I felt that the ramyun was too soggy. But I'd say the star of the meal was really the sweet potato latte. I am so sad I just found it today. It was mildly sweet and you can really taste the sweet potato. So delicious!!!! Service was a bit slow despite it not being very busy. The tables did have a little button to push to call an employee.

Been eating here since i got back in the country for good 4 yrs ago. This is my 5th time here. My 1st time was when my sister and my b.i.l. brought me. I always ordered their seafood creamy linguini, they we're really good, i like the consistency of the sauce, it's not thick. I also had their kbbq bibimbap,it is good as well. For the appetizer i got the dumplings. I will never let my meal finished without having their Latte, i just love their coffee here. Ambiance: I love the set up of the restaurant. It's literally a yellow house that you have to go all the way at the back for dining area. it's relaxing because of the outdoor nature vibe. And for the parking, they have vallet for $3 coz you don't want to take risk parking in the street since it's in DTLA.

Our party of 5 decided to come here as it was a place recommended by my son.I was pretty excited about coming to this restaurant and love the name and how it actually is a house converted into a restaurant.First of all, I love how the place is decorated, the waiting area is big and has chairs and benches for patrons while waiting. Every aspect of this waiting area gives one a photo opportunity. You walk in a hallway making your way to the back where there is a courtyard and some tables and chairs and along both sides of the courtyard is more seating. They have outdoor heated lamps as well. We ordered two korean bbq over rice , two kimchi & bacon pasta with cream sauce and clam chowder w/ garlic bread. As noted in past reviews, I have to agree that the Kimchi & Bacon pasta w/cream sauce is definitely the dish to order. The sauce is so tasty, light, and doesn't have that heavy based creme that one would find at a Italian restaurant. The Korean BBQ over rice was good but really nothing special that I haven't already had in other Korean restaurants. The clam chowder and garlic bread was good. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Overall, our first time experience was good and definitely a place I recommend and will come back to.

This restaurant is a must try! Upon entrance, this place will remind you of a cute cafe in Asia that serves the delicious comfort food that you're craving. I've been here twice now and both times there was no wait, so that's definitely a plus. Upon seating, there is a little button on each table to call your waiter whenever you need service. For food, I ordered the kimchi bacon pasta for myself and the tuna kimbap to share with my friend. The pasta was absolutely delicious, star of the meal! It was rich and creamy but not too overbearing. I usually don't like a heavy meat flavor in my dish so the amount of bacon paired really well with the carbs. It also came with slice of garlic bread - I had some leftover sauce at the end so I dipped the bread into the extra sauce which added a lot of flavor. The tuna kimbap was also really good - it's about $10 and comes with a good number of pieces, so I actually had a decent amount of leftovers to take home. If you take it home though, I recommend you consume it within a few hours since after refrigerating, kimbap rice won't ever taste as fresh as when it was first plated. If you're looking for a nice little cafe to catch up with a friend, this is the perfect spot. Pricing is also pretty reasonable for Koreatown!

We stopped by this cafe after dinner for dessert, my cousin said that this place use to be just a coffeehouse but they have expanded their selection and now serve food, we ordered a ice cream and a tiramisu cake and a couple of cups of coffee. There is valet parking for $3.00 (+ tip). The place was nicely decorated for Christmas lots of places to picture taking and cleanService was was friendly and professional

A fun and unique dining experience for the whole family.Went here for lunch with my wife and my one year-old, and they have different cozy little nooks that you can be sat in in different areas of the restaurant. We had our own little corner, so it felt very personal to us. There's a bell that you ring to bring the servers when you're ready for food and drink, and they come very fast after you call for them. we tried a bunch of different dishes that we had never tried before and they all tasted great. I also got a milkshake to go when we paid for the bill, which was a nice surprise and a dessert treat. They also were very accommodating with childseat, bringing specific kids waters. They made us feel very warm and welcome. Will definitely come back to try other dishes!

Really quaint space to be at for dessert and spending time with friends. Reminds me of a lofi study visual type place. Their shaved ice and churro waffles are amazing. The sweet potato latte is delicious.

Yellow House Cafe is one of my favorite spots in K-Town. It's really quiet and cozy and I love the food and drinks here. The kimchi pasta is their specialty dish (not pictured) but I tried their summer special: Chili Shrimp and it was SO yummy!

Came here on a Saturday night with my partner for our anniversary! We had the kbbq dukboki, seafood fried rice, and yellow house sampler. For dessert we had s'mores which were yummy! The food was great! Our issue was the service which I believe is a fluke. Our food took an hour when every one else's took like 20 mins. Manager came over to apologize and gave us free dessert. They have a call button so you are expected to press it everytime you need something as they do not come to check on you! Totally understandable, and I think if it was just date night, I wouldn't be too upset about it. But since it was a special night we were bummed! I'd still recommend eating here, it's a cute spot!

Drinks and Dessert menu. I got the Spicy Seafood Skillet Fried Rice. It was good and tasty. Downfalls: We waited over an hour for our food. When we asked for an update, they brought my partners food out within 5 minutes but mine didn't come out for another 20 minutes. By the time mine came out, hers was cold, so it had to be reheated. They comped us on A free desert, but not worth an hour and half wait with mediocre service. Would probably get take out again, but not dine in.
