Good Food, service was meh. And terrible atmosphere smalls like sewage inside and tons of homeless outside with very dirty walkway.

I ordered my food, and walked back to my car and drove out behind the building and was sickened by the sheer number of rats running in and out of their storage area! Nope! Nope! Nope!

This isn't the best area, traffic wise, people wise or even restaurant service wise. While the other restaurants in this busy San Fernando Rd/Fletcher Dr corner (Pollo Loco; Denny's; McDonald's) have either awful service, mediocre food quality or higher prices (sometimes all of those), this Yoshinoya is the exception. The service is great and food quality top notch. Worth finding a parking spot and evading occasional homeless passersby for this!

I asked what my options were for a rice.and veggie bowl and the cashier told me I shouldn't get a bowl and get sides of each instead as it wouybe cheaper. I thanked her and paid, then as my order is coming up and I ask where the sauce bar is she proceeds to tell me I didn't order sauce and that's when I look at my receipt to see I was charged $2.89 for rice, $3.29 for plain vegetables, plus an additional $1 for the sauce... Meanwhile both rice teriyaki rice AND teriyaki vegetables are on the "under $2 menu". So, if you're looking for honestly or sincerity in claims to help your decision process, didn't trust the staff here. It's absolutely bait and switch.

Clam chowder was very unpleasant. I’ve been calling to let them know, but voicemail is full. I really hope nobody gets sick. My daughter took a first spoonful and ran to spit it out.

Challenging parking

Not all Yoshinoya are equal because food served here is better. Would recommend this place but alittle scary with homeless and other questionable people outside. Be safe and enjoy the food here. I would recommend this place.

Wow! I have not experienced placing an order this easy, with the way it was handled from “greet to handing the meal”. Customer service efficiency at its best. I would not be surprised if the customer turnover rate for this store is leading the district, if not the region. “Alan” sets the example for the rest of the crew to follow. Way to go, Alan.

Homeless bothering you. Using soda machines. If you park near the back. DEAD RATS. IT ALSO SMELLS LIKE ROTTING FOOD. Never ever again!

Horrible customer service I ask to cancel my order and I was told they couldn’t cancel so I was force to eat something I didn’t like. I said give me money back they said no either 2 girls working bad service no name tag either
