I heard that the soup of seolleongtang tastes like rib soup.
The meat was soft and the portion was generous, but the soup was soggy, as if they didn't have enough soup and added more water. An acquaintance who was with me said it was delicious a few years ago, so this will be my first and last visit.

Please do not go here, the service is very bad. The way they treat customers is very rude and disrespectful. I went with a large group and will never go there again. My group was shocked and we will be taking our business elsewhere.

Their Korean-style beef stew used to be delicious. I ordered Galbi-tang, but the beef had an unpleasant odor. I could not eat any of the beef. However, their Sulung-tang is still good.

I visited because I heard that the clear seolleongtang is the signature dish of this restaurant. It felt more like rib soup rather than seolleongtang. Overall, it was okay, and the interior of the store was a bit old, so there were a lot of signs of age :) The lady was also kind, and these days, all restaurants use tap water, and she gave me barley tea water! It was good, I had the brisket seolleongtang, the meat was plentiful and the noodles were delicious!!

I like clear seollungtang, which is why I came here. But, the restaurant didn’t appear too clean. And, their radish kimchi that I got the second time around tasted different. Lastly, the brisket in the soup tasted funny. I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Casual, local sul lung tang specialist known for their clear broth.Good solid beef flavor. Nice cuts of beef. Kimchi is fine but I liked Han Bat’s kimchi more.Seating is indoor only. They have a private large parking lot. Credit cards are accepted.

This sullungtang joint is super local place with very good soup stock. Different than other sullongtang restaurants, their soup stock is not the heavy white soup type. If you prefer the light stock version with very good beef flavor, this is the place. Kim chi and pickled radishes are excellent. They have a free parking lot behind the store.

A place I always stop by when I come to LA! The taste isn't as impressive as it used to be, but the amount of meat, amazing kimchi, and radish kimchi taste great! The owner is always friendly and the parking lot is very convenient!

A place with a real taste and vibe of Seoul from the 80s and 90s. The meat soup is simmered to perfection, really deep in flavor. It brings back those nostalgic memories of Seoul citizens.
