Amazon hand roll. I only had avocado cucumber hand roll and it was good. The Brussel sprouts and shishito peppers are delicious. The bar design was cool. Staff were friendly. There are only bar seats no dining tables and you have to wait until all parties arrived to be seated. Overall I had a pretty good experience.
Vegetarian options: They have few veggies/vegetarian/vegan options.

Nori is served Korean style - roasted and sprinkled with salt. Kyoto IPA, Yunomi specials, spicy tuna with tempura, 6-handrolls. Handrolls are delicious!!!

Yunomi Handroll is an absolute gem! The food is delicious, with fresh, high-quality ingredients that make every bite incredible. The spicy albacore on crispy rice is an absolute must-try; perfectly crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of heat. On top of that, the staff is so friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better. I’m glad I just moved to walking distance from this absolutely gem!

We visited Yunomi last weekend with a few friends for a casual dinner, and I was excited to check it out after hearing so many great things.
The ambiance at Yunomi is cozy and sleek, with warm lighting and minimalist decor. The space feels inviting, with a relaxed vibe. The seating was comfortable, but I could see how it might get a little tight during busy hours.
Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, offering helpful suggestions from the menu. The food came out at a great pace and didn’t feel rushed at all. The staff checked in with us just the right amount of times without being intrusive and happily explained whenever we had questions.
Now, the hand rolls. The food exceeded my expectations. We each ordered the hand rolls sets, and it was perfectly done with a rich blend of flavors. The apps were also great. Yunomi has single handedly ruined all other hand roll places for me as nothing compares to it now. Looking forward to visiting again.
Parking is a bit hard as the restaurant is located in a busy area with a lot of nearby shops.
Definitely recommend Yunomi. Will be back again.

Can’t say enough. Friendly and efficient staff. Amazing appetizers (get the Rock Shrimp Crispy Rice sushi) coupled with tasty hand rolls made in front of you. Generous size and filling (3 hand rolls plus appetizers filled me up while I usually leave less than full after 6 hand rolls from Kazu Nori). Seating is around the Sushi Bar. Street parking is limited but plenty of options within short walking distance (Little Tokyo).

One of my favorite sushi handroll spots in LA. Great service. Food is great. I usually like to get the 5 piece set. Great for a date or hang out with a friend for a catch up. Dope ambience. Awesome neighborhood that’s right in the heart of the arts district so plenty to doin the area.

My experience at the restaurant was quite disappointing. The chairs were extremely uncomfortable, reminiscent of county jail, and posed a risk of causing permanent back damage or a serious fall. The atmosphere was unsettling, with a strong smell of marijuana, and many staff members struggled with English and food handling. While the fish was decent, both versions of the seaweed were terrible—they had a strong, unpleasant odor, almost like roadkill. Until they improve the seating and switch to better seaweed, we won’t be returning.

Still my favourite place for hand rolls but this visit was not my favourite. The hand rolls were filled with too much rice. Fingers crossed the next time I visit the female sushi chef comes back and makes the hand rolls.
Best Japanese Fusion food we have tried in LA so far! It definitely deserves the Michelin star award.

I've been here a handful of times now and it never gets old. The service and quality of seafood is excellent, not to mention the wide array of Japanese beers. Looking forward to going back soon. Highly recommend.
Kid-friendliness: Came here with two of our kids and they were very accommodating.
