Food is delicious the only thing is the wait, to enter it differs from what time of the day you go. If you go 2 hours before it closes you mides well take your food to go cause you won't get in there's a lot of reservations at the end of the day. And parking 2$ lunch 3$ dinner but the food is worth it the big bowl is for atleast 4 people I spent like 75$ but we added to our meal it was worth it .Parking: Parking is 2$ at lunch and 3$ at dinnerKid-friendliness: Had my kid there he did fineWheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair ramp

I love most of the spicy food! But i only can accept the mild one :) it was so chewy and delicious! I hope there is more mozzarella cheese on the menu…it was apparently a small portion besides the rice cakes…?please have rice ball with yup dduk just in case you can handle spicy

They are so rude and take too long time for pickup order. They push me to stay outside without any shadow. I waited for more than 30 mins for pick up order at outside and asked them to allow me stay inside but they were so rude. I got a sick after then. Even though they had a table, they don't allow me to change my order for dine in and proceed my order sooooooo slowly.

I've had food ordered from here multiple times in the last few years and the food is inconsistently made EVERY time. We order mild, but it's too spicy. We order mild the next time, it's not spicy enough. We order mild again the next time and it's not spicy at all. We then try medium and we can only have two bites before tossing the entire order out because it's so spicy! The same inconsitency goes for the soondae. Usually, it's cooked fine, but last time it was not cooked enough and tough and chewy. This time it was overcooked and straight mushy and falling apart as we tried grabbing a single piece.I don't know what's going on in the kitchen over there, but management or ownership needs to get all of the cooks on the same page so the food is consistent. It's like they don't care at all over there, and for the price you pay for such a simple Korean street food, it's unacceptable!

Delivery wrong and the restaurant not responsible for the wrong order

I ordered the Mara Yeoptteok Challenger and it was so spicy that I wondered if it was the spiciest!! If you order it as basic without adding any toppings, you get just the basics. Since there are only rice cakes and oden, you have to add them (Caution: If you add more, the price increases exponentially).

I have been coming to this place often for over a year now. I first discovered it back when I lived in Koreatown when a friend from Korea took me there to try it because she used to get it when she lived in Seoul. I hadn't tried anything quite like it before. I've been hooked ever since. There was genuinely a period when I was going 2-3 times a week and absolutely destroying my body. The food is by no means healthy, but it is delicious. It's spicy, carby, and heavy--peak comfort food. Great for colder weather but still a treat year round. It IS spicy. Even the lowest level, extra mild, has a fair bit of spice. We usually do the extra mild when my girlfriend and I go together. I often opt for the mild (which is quite spicy) when I am eating it by myself. I wouldn't call myself a juggernaut, but I am no stranger to spicy food. Mild is usually the spiciest I like to do. I can HANDLE the Original, but it has a strong kick to it. I am afraid of the highest spice level, challenge. Also note that the portion is large. It takes several people to finish it, otherwise you will certainly have leftovers. The restaurant itself is small, only seating about 16 or so people. There is often a wait because it is a popular spot with limited seating. Also because of this, I would probably discourage coming in a large party. They may struggle to easily accommodate bigger groups, and it will at the very least increase your wait time. The staff is very friendly. I've seen several faces there over the years. They have always been pleasant and helpful. In particular, Eric and Michael have stood out to me in my time eating here. They are very attentive, helpful, and accommodating. They offer excellent customer service to everyone they interact with. I always look forward to either of them working when I go in to eat.If you like spicy food, or you like tteokbokki, or you're just looking for something new and interesting to try, I definitely recommend this place.

I really wanted to buy a meal kit because I live in another state, but I was so disappointed. Good luck. I will definitely eat there next time.

The spice level at mild was close to when I eat a bunch of buldak noodles. So glad I went with mild. My nose was dripping halfway through the meal. I have a higher spice tolerance than most too. Fresh serranos and bird's eye chilis are my friend. I got the combo with more rice cakes, next time I'll try the one with more fish cakes. The rice balls are needed, trust me.

Rice cakes, fish cakes, and hot spicy sauce, what's not to love? The wait took a while because the restaurant is absolutely tiny but it was totally worth it. Super delicious and not even too bad in terms of heat. The tempura veggie 'fries' are incredibly well done. Get them on the side so they don't get soggy.Parking: Parking is valet. Lot is rather small.
