Its was a nice break from all american chicken fast food.
The wide range of menu items is emancipating. The cost is a little bit pricy-er but its worth a try.

One of the better restaurants in Downtown, Chicken and Rice were fresh and yummy, pita bread taste good, attentive staff. Place looks very clean. Nice Restrooms. I will go back for lunch.
Great food, fresh too. Nice friendly staff.
I love me some Zankou Chicken. I eat here at least once a week I love the garlic sauce I always get extra. Half chicken with two side, pita, and sauce for under $20 you can’t go wrong.

Great food and friendly service at Zankou Chicken! The combo kabob plate was flavorful and fresh, with delicious sides like hummus and cucumber salad. Definitely worth a visit.

Perennial favorite whenever I'm in SoCal. Always amazing chicken. The person who took my order seemed extremely distracted and I had to ask/order pickled turnips three times before getting them from another employee.

Amazing dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious and offered great value for the price. The service could have been a bit friendlier, but it might have been due to the late hour as they were nearing closing time. Overall, the quality of the food was outstanding, and I’ll definitely be returning! 7/10

Got their chicken tarna plate for $17 (2025). I got it with their cucumber salad, tzatziki, and rice. Lemme just tell you, THIS WAS AMAZING. One of the best things I’ve ever ordered. Everything was so fresh, flavorful, and quality. Didn’t feel gross or sick after eating. Was enough food to comfortably feed 2 people. Dreaming about going back.

Received my order and went to sit and eat. Afternoon a few min I noticed my order was not complete. I asked for the missing item and was directed to go see someone else. Went to them, and instead of looking at the receipt and seeing I ordered it, they wanted me to walk around with half finished lunch bowl.
No responsibility of the staff to ensure completed orders. No trust of the customer.
I’ll never return.

The service from the staff was amazing! They were super kind and explained everything well and also gave really good recommendations for the food. Only the chicken here is halal though but it was super delicious! Loved the sides too!

Very clean restaurant. Delicious food. Helpful crew. You wouldn't think this place is in the heart of DTLA.
