Fantastic food, every time, and great service. The Jamón Ibérico starter and the paella are favorites of ours, but everything we've tried here has been great. They put a lot of care into the food, and it shows.
The daily Truly Sustainable Fish special yesterday was a spectacular sea bass with an uber tasty spinach risotto. Bueno! Andrew, Steven and team always go the extra mile, whether with the food (obviously), dessert, service, or ambiance. Truly a neighborhood gem. Worth the trek from anywhere in the bay area for a special meal.
The staff at Asa is so pleasant and the food is fantastic. We had a lovely meal — great flavor combinations in each dish ! It is a little loud in the corner with sound bouncing off the walls, so if you have a hearing impaired guest, another location might be advised like out on the patio.
