Burrell School Vineyard and Winery

Beautiful location, worth the drive. Interesting history, much retained in the old schoolhouse building, books more than 100yrs old, etc.

Had an amazing wine tasting at the Burrell School Vineyards! Super unique setting next to an old school house which you can go inside. The porch offers gorgeous views of the hillside and makes a relaxing setting to try their delicious wines, all from grapes grown on site! The tasting was well paced with attentive and informative service. All the workers were friendly and helpful. The bottles are super reasonably priced to bring home a taste of the Santa Cruz mountains!

The grounds are beautiful and the staff friendly.

The owner has done an amazing job setting up the vineyard and processing at this historic location.

Come at the right time and you can see them harvesting and crushing.

I enjoyed the 2013 Pinot here and the view is breathtaking. I look forward to visiting again!

Great wine, amazing views, and friendly staff! Wine club membership is a fantastic deal as well. Bonus points for being dog-friendly and allowing outside food (perfect spot for a "picnic").

Great wine tasting in a great ambience on the terrace with a beautiful view of the vineyard and the landscape. The service was very friendly, it was really fun. We particularly liked the personal aspect of this rather small winery. There is a much larger winery next door which is also very nice, but the wine and personal ambience was much better at Burrell School!

We met some friends and celebrated their dogs 10th birthday.

A must go winery in Bay Area! One of the best experience I ever had in Bay Area wineries. I had my birthday celebration here with about 15 people and the staff were supper friendly. It was a magical day for me with this view and they let us to bring our own food and enjoy their 6 exquisite bottle of Chardonnay, Pinot noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. The great thing about this place is that children and family are welcome and I was so happy that I had my 3 years old niece with me on my birthday. Not to forget that the price is very reasonable for such a great experience.

Nestled in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Burrell School Vineyard is the perfect place for your next event. We hosted a family gathering with 10+ out of state guests. Private event organizer Kyle helped us create an unforgettable experience. From the planning process all the way through the execution of the event itself, everything was seamless and stress free. The wine is delicious. Make sure to check out their Rose Garden. The beautiful views of the mountains and idyllic vineyard make this place one of kind.
