Great wine, amazing views, and friendly staff! Wine club membership is a fantastic deal as well. Bonus points for being dog-friendly and allowing outside food (perfect spot for a "picnic").

This vineyard is directly next-door to Regale, another vineyard. It is such a cute schoolhouse on a beautiful property. The wisteria was in bloom when we visited, and it felt like something out of the hobbit home in Lord of the Rings lol. I really liked the cab franc & my husband enjoyed the pinot. Overall, the wine is above average, but not stellar. You can buy a bottle in lieu of a tasting fee. They allow you to bring your own snacks and children are allowed. It was quaint and intimate, I'm sure we'll be back since it's right next to Regale where we go often.

A must go winery in Bay Area! One of the best experience I ever had in Bay Area wineries. I had my birthday celebration here with about 15 people and the staff were supper friendly. It was a magical day for me with this view and they let us to bring our own food and enjoy their 6 exquisite bottle of Chardonnay, Pinot noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. The great thing about this place is that children and family are welcome and I was so happy that I had my 3 years old niece with me on my birthday. Not to forget that the price is very reasonable for such a great experience.

This place has a beautiful view and kind of an interesting history. But I'd say the good ends there. The wine was really not good, especially the reds. In a group of 4, we all thought the same. The service was also mediocre at best. Need to call out the very weird behavior when one of the people on our group requested water. They asked 'why' and basically made her explain why she was thirsty?? I see from other reviews that this place is weird about their water. Tip to the owner: raise your tasting fee by $1 and offer each person a glass of water without hassle. Charge for extra glasses of you really must. But don't make your customers grovel for water.

Nestled in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Burrell School Vineyard is the perfect place for your next event. We hosted a family gathering with 10+ out of state guests. Private event organizer Kyle helped us create an unforgettable experience. From the planning process all the way through the execution of the event itself, everything was seamless and stress free. The wine is delicious. Make sure to check out their Rose Garden. The beautiful views of the mountains and idyllic vineyard make this place one of kind. We highly suggest considering Burrell School Vineyard for your next event. Cheers!

I've been here before and the wine was delicious, but today was a bad experience. First our host poured the smallest amount. The table next to us had 2x more than us. The wine was not good. Wish they had better wines on the menu. The new rose was yellow. Unfortunately will not be going back

The only reason I am giving this winery 2 stars is for the view. We had purchased Vintners tickets for a weekend of wine tasting. Burrell was on the list so we made reservations for Sunday. We arrived a bit early and there wasn't anyone else tasting. The host said let me see if I can find you a table. HUH??? ok. We sat down on the patio and the view was amazing. It was a super hot day out so I asked if we could get some water. Our server said sure I will bring it out with the next pour. He brought out the wine but didn't bring out the water. When he asked if we had any questions I asked can we please have some water? (asked 2 times now) He said we usually charge $1.00 for water. I said What???? You charge for water?? He said yes it's bottled water. I said I have never been to a winery where they didn't offer water bottled or not. Again it was a very very hot day out. I said well then forget it. He said let me see what I can do. Well that let a really bad taste in my mouth. He then brought out the bottle of water and said it's on the house. It wasn't like it was some fancy wine it was Kirkland brand from Costco!!!! That just wrecked my whole experience of Burrell School

The winery itself has a beautiful setting and overall the service was very good. The wine was hit and miss for our group - we really liked the Chardonnay's but were lukewarm on some of the other wines.

We were very lucky to have Rich be able to host a wine tasting for our small work team event on very short notice. We brought our own picnic food, and had an amazing time looking over the very scenic winery and gorgeous views from the outside tasting deck. This was truly and escapist experience for all of us on a beautiful day with a very down to earth and easy going picnic and wine tasting. The relaxing atmosphere let us truly enjoy the wines, and they tasted great.

Staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We were able to pick up our wine shipment at the same time we were tasting recent releases. The ambiance in the rose garden was lovely and we enjoyed ourselves. The complementary chili was very tasty.
