Had a wonderful dinner at Lele Kitchen, an Eastern European restaurant, in an unassuming strip mall on the border of Los Gatos and San Jose. Amazing reclamation of an vacant Starbucks cafe. The food, service, atmosphere, and wine were spectacular, and we hope to go back for many more dinners. We had the mushroom draniki, striped bass, liberty duck breast, and lemon and basil cake. My wife also enjoyed a wine pairing with her dinner. The server was attentive and knowledgeable.

Lele Kitchen honestly, everything was delicious. It’s Eastern European cuisine but elevated and beautifully presented , you can really feel the upscale touch without it feeling pretentious. Every dish was full of flavor and thoughtfully plated. You can tell there’s a lot of care behind the food. It felt comforting but refined at the same time.Such a lovely experience overall. Definitely a spot we’d come back to when we’re in Los Gatos again

What can I say? Dining at Lele was like dining at one of the finest restaurants in NYC. Hard to believe you can find an experience of this caliber in the South Bay. Everything was a culinary masterpiece prepared by a gifted chef. The outstanding wines were perfectly paired by the sommelier. The staff was excellent, and the atmosphere was very nice. Don’t let the strip mall on the outside of town fool you. Lela is a gem. Go and be prepared to be wowed.

Pre-Valentine's dinner was perfect. We were a bit early and the staff was accommodating. The service was superb and the food which we ordered a prefix menu was outstanding. Would definitely go back for date night or a special occasion. Wonderful time.
We had a great experience at Lele Kitchen. The food was delicious and inventive. I particularly enjoyed the smoked trout drakini, buckwheat blini and roe, and the rabbit and tart cherry porcini pandorti. The server and staff were very friendly, funny, and helpful. Despite this restaurant being a little out of the way for us, it will definitely be a return visit.
Hidden Gem. The chef has brought in the fusion (California with Eastern Europe) so well, full of flavors, colors, and taste. I have never had a chef give me ice cream with pine cones. Each dish is a piece of art, which is also very true to every item and its respective flavors used to create it. It was a pleasure dining here, and we will def be coming back here for more.
Beautifully created dishes. The ingredients are fresh . I really enjoyed the distinctive flavors of each dishes as well as the great wine selections. The stave were attentive and polite during all of our dinners here. My wife and I have been to many Michelin star restaurants and sensed that LeLe will join the list soon.

Lele was a wonderful dining experience. You will likely find yourself trying something new, and creatively delicious. The staff and service were top notch. I foresee a Michelin star in the near future! Highly recommended.
Food is excellent! Service is excellent! The volume of the music made it difficult to fully appreciate the dining experience :( It was hard to hold a conversation and even to hear the server describe the wonderful dishes.
We went for a birthday dinner and i would have to say the vibes were nice. Food was overall good but my biggest complaint would be the portions of the in comparison to the price. I asked for pepper flakes with my pasta and they gave me a mediocre sized amount.

I'd like to introduce you to an amazing and truly under the radar South Bay restaurant. It's called Lelé Kitchen. I went for my third time and ordered the “Trust the Chef” menu. You know how we love and appreciate a Submariner and then we see an MB&F it blows our mind that 2 watches can perform the same function but one changes our perception of what that function. This was not my first experience of culinary greatness, however it was my first “meal” from someone who is not known worldwide (or a social media star). What blows my mind is that is amazing restaurant is 1. Located in a strip mall (used to be a Starbucks) on the Los Gatos/West San Jose border; 2. Was only 2/3 full on a Friday night; and 3. Is priced reasonably for what you get. I would describe the cuisine as Eastern European/Baltic flavors meet Alice Waters prepared by Dominique Crenn. I'm a foodie but don't pawn myself off as an everyday gourmet. I'm a fish, chicken, pizza and hamburger guy, but I've been around enough to recognize “craft.” I highly recommend you give Lele's Kitchen a try. It is a dining experience that will leave you with a big smile without insulting your wallet.
We chose to go with the tasting menu. The chef was great in replacing items we did not wa t or could not eat. All food was amazing in taste and presentation. Great date night out.
Amazing food, with flavors bursting and complementing each other beautifully. We also had a wonderful sommelier walk us through many wine options, with a few tastings provided, and shared an exceptional bottle with our meal. We will definitely be going back!
I was really impressed with this place. It's high-end Russian cuisine, but done in such a warm and cosy way that you immediately feel relaxed. The food was delicious! Rich flavors, beautifully prepared, and honestly just comforting. The service was amazing too: super friendly, attentive without being pushy, and you can tell they really care. Overall, it just felt like a genuinely special experience. I'd definitely go back.
I haven't had a meal that good maybe ever. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a meal there. You won't regret it.
