The coffee is wonderful, but, excuse me, the “potato” cake (a small lump decorated for some reason, in addition to berries, with an inedible flower) has nothing in common with a real “potato” cake, and this product the size of a golf ball costs 6 dollars,

What an incredible discovery was this place. Went out to dinner with my friends and was mind-blown by the diversity of flavors of foods we were served. Macarons with caviar and salmon? Mackerel with tangerines? Oysters and pear? Get out of here! Never tasted anything this incredible! The whole experience was just amazing and on top of this very warm welcome.
Special shout out to chef Ulad who made every meal with so much love!

Love that Lele has cakes and pastries available weekend afternoons! Most shops in the Bay run out early. I usually get the matcha basque cheesecake. They have done pop ups in MV, they announce them in their newsletter.

lelé cake has a cute and cozy atmosphere. The highlight for me was the ube latte, it was absolutely delicious! Definitely a spot worth visiting for a relaxing coffee break.

While the presentation of the food is great the taste is fair at best. Ordered both the salmon toast and prosciutto toast, while the flavor is good the bread was not probably toasted giving it a chewy rather a crunchy feel. The restaurant is very cutely decorated unfortunately it was very crowded and stuffy inside and we ended up sitting outside. Finally the service is extremely disappointing, it was my first time there and while I understand it’s a self serving cafe, it was very conniving of them to suggest service charge of between 18-22%. How can the establishment justified that kind of service charge to customers when everything is self served from picking up orders, picking silverware, getting water and customers are expected to return all dishes to dish station. All for a wonderful price of over $80 including tips. Unless you are into beautiful presentation and over priced food with zero service in a crowded setting, this one unfortunately is a never again experience for me.

This is absolutely my favorite coffee place. That includes many of the cakes and menu dishes.

Kid-friendliness: Definitely a kid-friendly place. There's even a dedicated corner for young kids to play in.

Met a friend at this lively neighborhood gem, and afterwards, walked over to a great crafting experience place…I ordered the Farm-to-table medley, no Parmesan and the Ube Latte. Fast, fresh, delicious! Plenty of parking, light, plants, inside and outdoor seating!

December 2024: Met another friend on a cold, windy weekday and it was fun! Great options, added a few more photos.

Nice setting, pretty good coffee, attractive deserts and more. The kartoshka desert we had tastes quite authentically “Eastern European” (the polite way to avoid say “Russian” or “Ukrainian” - the owners speak Ukrainian but authentic items on the menu use Russian names).
Beautiful interior design. I live there flowers everywhere.

Lele Cake is a delightful spot that exceeded our expectations. I enjoyed a creamy and refreshing matcha latte, while my wife loved her equally satisfying ube latte. Our daughter had a kid-friendly hot chocolate served in an adorable, child-attracting cup, which she adored. The cafe’s ambiance is casual, inviting, and thoughtfully designed for families, making it a refreshing experience overall. I highly recommend Lele Cake to anyone looking for a charming, non-chain, mom-and-pop-style cafe with a relaxed, kid-friendly vibe.

This place promotes a troubling sense of nationalism. When the cashier overheard us speaking Russian, she abruptly switched to English and acted like she couldn’t understand us. Despite the fact that we support Ukraine, we were still treated poorly. I left feeling unwelcome and have no plans to return. The atmosphere is unfriendly, and the service is poor

It is very sad that stifling nationalism flourishes in this establishment. The angry girl at the checkout heard that we were speaking in Russian and began to answer us in English. Showing with all his appearance that he does not understand us. I have no desire to come here anymore and would not recommend this establishment to anyone. The atmosphere is not pleasant, there is no service👎👎👎

Friendly local Russian (and pro-Ukraine 🥰) cafe in a quiet Los Gatos neighborhood is serving a variety of coffees, espresso, and lattes. The pastries and small plates that they had here were amazing. Come here if you’re looking for some good coffee, and amazing neighborhood, and just a quiet place to enjoy coffee and food with your friends.

I highly recommend The cheesecakes with sour cream. Many of the small dishes they have here are Russian, which was very new for me. I was so impressed with the flavor of everything. The little cheese cakes were amazing. They are kind of like Colombian arepas, but they have much more moisture and you dip them in sour cream. So amazing. We also tried a BeloRussian waffle which which was basically a fried waffle made out of potatoes. So amazing.

The services is very friendly and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is easy to find and it’s free. I think this place would be really good to come both on the weekend to enjoy with your friends, or on a quiet weekday. You can come here when it’s less busy and sit outdoors, enjoy a great coffee, and have a few snacks. The breakfast here was just out of this world.

If you’re looking for a friendly bakery, and you wanted to try some Russian food and some good coffee – this is a great place to check out. We were really impressed with everything
