Los Gatos Cafe Uptown

The food is outstanding. But good lord, it is a super noisy, tight and uncomfortable restaurant to be in when it's busy. on the weekends, there is almost always a long line out the door, but they seat people rather quickly! Overall, it's an amazing restaurant and worth the crowded atmosphere.

DON'T order a hamburger
I was looking forward to a juicy burger and i was disappointed

We've been going to the downtown location for at least 30 years. We now go to the uptown location more frequently because of the location, better parking, and there's more space inside. Same level of service and food quality as the original location.

Super cute and cozy breakfast and lunch place.
We came to brunch on Saturday at noon, there was a line to get in but not to long. Big variety of food, big portions, everything was tasty and fresh.
The service was nice and quick.
Definitely recommended.

We had an incredible breakfast at Los Gatos Cafe! Every dish was packed with flavour, and the portions were generous.
We ordered the Raspberry Coffee Cake for the table, which was tender, moist and hot- a perfect sweet treat to start the meal along with coffee.
The Black and Blue Benedict was a standout- perfectly poached eggs with rich blue cheese and steak. They were able to provide the Hollandaise on the side.
Finally, the Herb Chicken, Avocado & Swiss Cheese Sandwich was fresh and flavourful, with perfectly seasoned chicken, creamy avocado, and melted Swiss on toasted bread.
The service was friendly, warm and attentive, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Servers offered coffee refills when they passed by. This is hands down one of the best breakfast spots in San Jose- can’t wait to come back and try more!

Okay food. Problematic hygiene. Terrible service. We ordered french toast and Italian omelet. The food was okay. But throughout the restaurant there was no hand sanitizer. The bathroom has a long line so I was looking for hand sanitizer but was told there was none…. So how do the staff keep their hands clean? They just don’t I guess? The service was terrible. My toddler was asking for crayons and the waitress told us there was no more while we could clearly see several in a cup right on the shelf with napkins utensils just three feet away from our table. My water never got refilled. Will not come again.

The pancake looked so cute!the pancake was really good too.the bagel was good,but was a little too burned.my friend ate French toast.it looked good.i liked Los Gatos cafe.the food was awesome!the lemonade was sooooooooo good!but one thing,I don’t think you should put too many ice in it.because when it melts the lemonade will taste so light.thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!
