Enjoyed the cocktails, including spicy Oaxacan Nights and High Tide. Appetizers of short ribs, lettuce cups with yummy shrimp, burrata with levain and almonds - that last could have been dessert. Enjoyed the salmon with horseradish as well as the pumpkin risotto, though the trumpet mushrooms were just small bits, my date hoped for more shrooms. Excellent service by Giovanni and the bussers.
As always, our recent visit to Parkside did not disappoint. When we arrived there was no host at the front, but the bartender Larry quickly came from around the bar and helped us get seated. We got the window booth, which is my favorite place to sit in the restaurant. Larry immediately took our drink order and shortly after we were greeted by our server, Chloe. The food took a little longer than expected to arrive, but the servers kept checking in with us and letting us know when...
Really great food choices that is prepared well and fairly priced. Something for everyone. Our wait person Theresa was attentive and helpful -- always there when we needed something. The place is popular, so the noise level is high-- found ourselves speaking loudly to be heard (5-6:30 p.m timeframe). Parkside was new to all of us and we agreed we would go back again.
