Great food, great service, very reasonable prices - highly recommend! Lentils soup with chicken - superb! The sea bass curry very generous on the fish portions. The chicken curry sauce was great (forgot the name, the one with cashews). And the lamb chop was also great. Highly recommend all these dishes with the butter garlic naan!

Public Safety Warning

I called the restaurant prior to placing my order to explain that my sister has an extremely severe, anaphylactic nut allergy. I was explicitly reassured multiple times that the food would be completely nut-free. When the order arrived, the dish was filled with cashew nuts.
This is not a minor mistake. Serving a known allergen after being clearly warned and reassured is a serious food safety failure. Anaphylaxis is life-threatening— even trace exposure can result in emergency hospitalization or death.
I immediately contacted the restaurant and was told that the allergy note/order was misplaced. That explanation is deeply concerning. Carelessly misplacing an allergy note does not lessen the danger of the situation.
While the staff did apologize, acknowledge their error, and later send a replacement biryani — which I appreciate — this does not change the fact that this carelessness could have had potentially fatal consequences.
This restaurant cannot reliably handle or communicate allergy information and should not assure customers that food is safe for those with allergies.
I am posting this review so that people with nut allergies — or those ordering for loved ones — are aware of the risk and do not unknowingly trust this restaurant.

Sooooo not bad but not great for the price. Ordered takeout. Chicken curry...I recieved a total of 5 small pieces in a container all fatty thigh meat. Flavor was there. But meat was almost not palatable. Samosa underfilled mostly dough but tasty. Definitely not 40 dollars worth of food.

AMAZING lunch buffet. Came here on a Saturday afternoon. The food tastes great. I immediately went for the butter chicken and tandoori chicken. It was piled high. The inside of the restaurant has a very nice ambience. I would highly recommend

Really great Indian food. I've been eating at their santa cruz location for years, and recently moved temporarily to los gatos and was excited to see a location here. The food is really good and wholesome and just makes you feel good. Authentic flavors and dishes. Our favorites are Malai Chicken, Murg Malabar, Vegetable coconut curry, palak paneer. Butter chicken and Tikka Masala also very good if you are into those popular indian dishes.

The food is good and ambience is perfect - nice cosy experience. Customer service is okay. We ordered vegetarian food and their eggplant vegan entree is great. customers of Indian origin love to have cut onions with their meals but charging $5.00 is a bit too much. I was happy to pay but the red onions are just want too spicy. I think they buy the conventional type that isn’t suited to eat raw. I shared the feedback only to be told by the server, “I cannot do anything about it”. I didn’t even ask for a refund was just making a suggestion for improvement.

Delicious! Loved the Chicken tiki masala and the pea paneer. Naan bread was also delicious. One of the best Indian restaurants I've eaten at.

We loved it! Great food, lovely weekday lunch special, and gluten free options with celiac-knowledgable waitstaff. So delicious and large portions. Thanks!

We enjoy eating here. They have great weekday lunch specials which includes vegetarian options. They have flavorful dishes that aren't overly oily and the portions are large. The appetizers such as the samosas are tasty too. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they spice each dish exactly to your preference. Excellent service and consistently satisfying food—definitely worth a visit!

Namastay in Saratoga exceeded all our expectations. My husband and I went to Namastay right when it opened and ended up eating way more than we intended — everything was that good! From daal to the butter chicken and kadai paneer, each dish was bursting with authentic Indian flavors. The naan was fresh, and perfectly cooked.

Highly recommend if you're craving real Indian flavors with excellent service.

The waitstaff couldn't have been kinder to me when I showed up 25 minutes from afternoon closing hour. The food was exceptional.

Got charged 3% for using a credit card. I mean, come on, who uses cash to pay for a group dinner these days?
