Philz has some of the best pour over coffee in the San Francisco Bay Area. They have a good selection of different varieties of coffee, always made fresh to your liking. This location has nice in-shop and outdoor seating.
Coffee is great, like that they will remake coffee if it doesn't come out good, which happens but rarely. Baristas touch, I noticed some make it better than others, not sure if it's the experience or touch, either way, they will remake it, which is nice.
I order from Philz all the time, and a few months back, they accidentally missed a burrito in my order. Today, they surprised me by including two! I had to call to say thank you, and Sam, who answered the phone, was the absolute sweetest. The fact that they remembered a small mistake from months ago really touched me—it’s little acts of kindness like this that we often take for granted. Sam and the team truly made my day 🥹
