Pintxo Pote continues to be a neighborhood gem offering high quality, authentic Basque-Spanish style tapas. The chef offers only what he can consistently make and offer from quality ingredients. My husband and I eat there frequently and always get exactly what we expect, with outstanding service. While paella is something that people tend to expect from a Spanish tapas restaurant, the chef will prepare it on nights when he know he can make it well - perhaps Tuesday or Wednesday...
This is such a wonderful spot. The food is excellent and the couple who run the restaurant are so friendly and helpful. We have been here multiple times now and every time has been a delicious experience.
The personal service is like eating at a close friend's house, but with an amazing chef. The variety and quality is such a treat. Being able to enjoy so many different small dishes, rather than settling on one “main” course makes it fun, no matter what each one of you wants to order. My personal favorite is the bacon wrapped dates. But we also order an omelet (tortilla) every time. You can't go wrong here!
