We wanted to spend our Father's Day Brunch Shepherd & Sims, but a lot of the time we were searching for a server for our table. Not sure why, but the server took a long time to arrive at our table. We felt ignored. Finally someone in a suit (looked like the manager) stopped by to pour water into our water glasses, and said, "Let me get you a server." When the server arrived it took a long time for us to get our drinks. My father-in-law asked for some coffee....
Went for Father's day brunch. Although the menu was short there were great choices. Tried the Steak(which did not come with egg). It was a bit ore cooked than I expected but delicious! This brunch menu included a special....chicken fried steak. We tried that too....also delicious. I will return to try more choices. The prices were fair given the portion sizes.
This is really a neighborhood gem. The menu is wonderful from head to toe, and the cocktails are so creative. Dana was amazing. She was attentive but never intrusive. I seem to always get the table I want, and I'm a real table snob! It's so nice to have a place close by with so much class and yet so casual and easy.
