The grilled chicken omelette with potatoes was delicious, and their coffee cake was simply divine. The friendly servers and the pleasant outdoor seating made for a great brunch experience.

Such a good breakfast! I feel like because of the location (~1.5 blocks off the main road N Santa Cruz) Southern Kitchen doesn't get much attention.
We sat outside and their parklet is shaded in the morning, which meant it was pleasant to sit outside, even in warmer weather!
