This was a great place, my wife and I had a wonderful time with beautiful wine and solid food. This makes for a cute date spot and has vibrant energy, but I would recommend making a reservation as it fills up well.
I’m rating 3 stars as a warning though for any future diners to not get bullied like we did. Our server added things to our tab that we didn’t order, but did so in a way that made it seem as though it was complimentary. So this is just a heads up to not be foolish like me who blindly paid without looking and check the tab.
The focaccia was wonderful though!

Exceptional service. At the start of our meal Michael asked everyone seated if we had any food allergies and then crafted all of our dishes around that. Every dish was presented with dedicated beauty and integrity to the food. Delicious food happens here 💖💖

Not only the Italian food, but the Italian experience. This is our touch of Italy in the Peninsula. Food, delicious and hand crafted. Unreal focaccia, and the meatballs are to die for. Wine selection, perfect guaranteed. The owner, there and ready to make your experience perfect. Make a reservation…. Don’t just walk in and hope they can squeeze you in. Sometimes they can and try hard to do it, but just make a reservation. The place is small and intimate. The staff is kind and attentive. Come for a dining experience, not a quick dinner.

My fiancé and friends and I had dinner here last night and what a wonderful experience! This was my first time here, and I will most definitely want to come back numerous times! The owner is absolutely fantastic! When you dine at Vino Vero, you don't just eat and drink, you have a memorable experience! The suggestions are wonderful and the food, wine, and drinks are exceptional. It's not often that a restaurant owner can make you feel like family, but this gentleman absolutely did! It was like being in Italy!
As a side note, something that also speaks to the genuineness of this restaurant owner was how he was incredibly attentive to my disability as I use a wheelchair. He's very conscious of making the experience whatever it needs to be with any accommodations. Absolutely wonderful!

Our favourite Italian in the region! Food and drinks are great, definitely try their focaccia and the pastas on the menu! The owner is super friendly and hands on, always ready to suggest something new on the menu or a great wine. It is our go-to spot with friends if you want wrap up your day in a perfect way.

Love this place! The service is top notch. The wine is amazing (all Italian!!) and the owner is even better. As someone who is unfamiliar with Italian wines, he made it so fun. Had the best time and will be coming back plenty!

My friend and I went on Sunday evening for a ladies' day. This place was beautiful; seating inside/outside as well as bar seating. The menu is small but delicious, and the service was fantastic. Although it was busy, the owner came by our table often and gave little complimentary bites off the menu, very knowledgeable and passionate about wine, and made fantastic recommendations. Also, I was kind enough to ask about allergies/food restrictions prior to making recommendations. It was like a piece of Italy there. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back.
