Trash. Place is unacceptable I would never go back, I stepped inside the establishment and seen rats running across the floor. There’s better spots along the strip

We had an amazing time at We Olive Los Gatos! Steffen was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and super knowledgeable about the wines. We sat at the bar, enjoyed the cool AC on a hot day, and ordered a delicious flatbread paired with three glasses of wine. Everything was perfect, from the atmosphere to the service. Highly recommend coming here and asking for Steffen!

This was the only place in downtown that would let me taste just one wine, everyone else wanted you to do a flight for $15 and I'm a lightweight. LOL. Then they gave us this amazing tasting of Olive oil and balsamic vinegar (free) and there's a very nice place to eat in back with your dog. Tasting the wine was from 3.50 to 5 something. We went home with a lovely sampling of oils and vinegars which we can refill.

A hidden gem, especially if you like California wines. Must get an olive oil tasting if you come here, and it is dog friendly outside. 21+ for anyone to dine in.
Kid-friendliness: No kids allowed past the retail section. 21+ up only. It is a bar.
Recommended dishes: Italian Sandwich, Castelvetrano Olives, Artisan Cheese and Charcuterie Plate
I wanted a glass of water, so we stopped here, and my husband ordered a glass of wine. He was perusing the menu, and I asked our server what he recommended. Being as it was summer, he suggested "2020 Windy Oaks Estate Pinot Noir" from the Santa Cruz Mountains. My husband tasted it and described it as a light, elegant red, smooth and refined.
While you are here, you have to taste the olls and vinegars--and maybe buy a bottle or two. I really recommend the blood orange oil. Amazing!
Parking: There is a free city lot behind the bar, and there is free street parking.
