Took at least 15 minutes until we received menus that we had to ask for! The place was very busy and loud. Our waiter finally came and wasn't too friendly, even after having waited awhile to order. He never refilled our water glasses. There seemed to be only 2 waiters and it was 1:30pm and the place was packed. On a positive note, the grilled miso salmon with the wasabi drizzle was excellent though! It was hot and cooked perfectly. The rice, and bok choy were cooked perfectly as well, and I was really happy with what I ordered. My companion had the seared ahi salad which was tasty, but rice and bok choy were cold. Had to ask for some soy sauce and wasabi, which came quickly, but was not told that there was a charge for it! They have a great menu that I would like to try more of, but not sure about the service and food temps.

Lunch for my bday based on reservation. No acknowledgment or anything special;. Nice outdoor, food nice, service so and so. WE recommend this restaurant that we visited for time to time.

We were seated, at our request, in a booth for the 3 of us. It was quiet ~ we weren't! The service was excellent, quick & correct. Food was plentiful & wonderful!

Really delicious food with elegant presentation! Salmon entree absolutely divine; Great Beet salad, with unusual visual surprise. Super tasty sauces, dressings and condiments to accompany very fresh food! Nice ambience, but a little noisy.

Fabulous New Year's Eve meal. Always great service we had the spaghetti bolognese and steak frites ended with the banana sundae dessert. This is absolutely one of the jewels of Los Gatos.

We made a reservation, but the host made a point to let us know when we arrived that we only had an hour and a half as our table was spoken for after that. That was relatively unpleasant. We ordered the fondue and two glasses of wine. The wine was good (Zin), but the fondue was only warm, not hot, and the candle in the heater was too small to do any good. So it pretty quickly congealed. We will try again and see if this was just a one time flaw. For the prices they charge, my expectations were higher.

Absolutely outstanding! We had not been here for +/~ 20 years and it was excellent then. Don’t know how we lost track of this place, but not again! The menu is unique and is challenging to select from a sumptuous listing of dishes. We will be back regularly.

The large picture shown in their add . Seared Ahi Tuna .. two of us had it for lunch 11/14/25. Both of us had sever stomach cramps and diarrhea within 2 hours of eating. Our waiter kept telling us how fresh the seafood was as it just came in got the weekend, ???????????? I called to report his.. the response was oh.. I’ll mention it to the chef. All I wanted was to prevent others from the same reaction.

All good. But the fish sandwich does not taste like fish! They had mixed it with vegetables.
Loved it. First time experiencing the speakeasy room loved the ambience and music. Food and service was excellent as always. We recommend the sea bass and the chicken tortellini dinners

We have been going to the Wine Cellar for years. We are never disappointed. I had the sea bass special & my husband had the stuffed pork chop. Both meals were amazing. Garfield, our server, was efficient & attentive.
