When making your list of wineries to visit when you're in town, don't forget Andrew Murray Vineyards! It's a super relaxed place, which a lot of seating inside and out. I particularly enjoy the outdoor section under the big oak tree. Both times I've visited we had the pleasure of having Thomas as our pourer and he is always excellent. This is a great mix of fantastic ambiance, friendly staff and excellent wine! I particularly enjoy how their tasting menus are a little more expansive than most others, giving you more opportunity to taste a larger variety. They're also very kid friendly here! Inside they have a FREE camera that can take stills, gifs and more that are displayed on the big screen inside but also emailed to you for free. A wonderful keepsake that the kids love.

This has become one of my favorites to visit when in town.

They have a beautiful outdoor terrace and good wines. Izzy was absolutely amazing with explaining the philosophy of the vineyard and explaining the wines.

Very good rosé, the best wine remains Grenache. The staff is nice.

My favorite of all the wineries we visited. Not only in the quality of the wines but about the winemaker himself.

My recent visit to Andrew Murray Winery in Los Olivos, CA, was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped foot onto the estate, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. Our wine tender, Shanna, was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly kind, enhancing our tasting experience.

The selection of wines offered for tasting was impressive, but it was the Grenache that truly stole the show. Its rich flavor and smooth finish convinced me to take a bottle home to savor later.

The estate itself is a sight to behold, boasting breathtaking scenery and a charming patio setting adorned with heaters and yard games. The pet-friendly atmosphere was a delightful surprise, allowing us to enjoy our time with our furry companions by our side.

Overall, Andrew Murray Winery offers more than just exceptional wines; it provides a memorable experience that leaves a lasting impression. I highly recommend a visit to anyone looking for a delightful wine-tasting adventure in the heart of California wine country.

We enjoyed our visit last week. Solid lineup of wines. Jordan was personable and informative.

Amazing views, decor and ambiance. Great wine as well, I highly recommend sticking to the richer reds however, personally.

loved our time here, we joined after a beautiful tasting of unique and delicious wines!! the atmosphere is mod yet cozy, with cushy blankets and great, prompt service. we learned a lot about Andrew and his love of wines, thanks to the amazing woman who helped us out and told us all about AMV. we are thrilled to be members now and visit when we come to town (up from San Diego). they have very affordable pricing and the comp tastings with a membership can’t be beat! we’re excited to have taken home some E11EVEN wines as well, yum! a great variety here, and for the right price. we are so glad to have made the trip over here while staying in Solvang, at our hotels recommendation. what a beautiful spot, we look forward to being back soon!! thank you thank you, would recommend to anyone staying in the area. Roasted Slope & Petit Verdot were my personal fave, and s/o to Enchanté which surprised & delighted, turning us into white wine drinkers this visit!! cheers!

Such a shame. Server turned us away very rudely at 4:50 and had no interest in serving. Their sign advertises 5:30 and so does Google. Wonder if their owner is aware that their staff leaves early.

The wine is excellent but we were very disappointed in the unprofessional staff. They constantly complained openly about how many people were there, and would stop and start ranting each time a group would come to the podium to check in. They kept referencing “Covid times” and were just plain weird! We will not be back at Andrew Murray in the future.!

We visited with my sister and her husband who are both members along with 6 other family members, two are members of various other wineries in Napa and Sonoma. Needless to say it was not our first tasting so we were extremely disappointed when our server Izik treated us so rudely. It was not busy but he rushed to serve us, didn’t tell us his name or any background of the winery or information about the wines. When we asked he rushed through the information - I felt like it was a speed date. We left and spent our money elsewhere. Have never been treated so badly. Would not recommend as there are so many other wineries in the area and wonderful to visit.

Went there 12/26/23 for a wine tasting. I have been to MANY wine tasting all over and this place was the WORST experience I have ever had. We had a party of 10 and they would not push 2 tables together that were literally 5 feet from each other, stating "we DON'T move tables", forcing us to break our party up..No interaction from the host, no info on the winery or history, in fact we had to ask what we were drinking to confirm the wine from the tasting list. Dude poured and ran away! Horrible experience and will not be back and no will not purchase wine from them ever! If they don't want to put the time in for me I won't for them!! Save your money and go elsewhere for sure!

Very dog friendly winery. They have the little trash can with poop bags out front like you see at parks, which was nice to see. The wines were really good. This place had a lot of really cozy seating inside, lots of couches and tons of blankets to snuggle up under.
