Had been before a few times for lunch while driving up the central coast, but finally stopped by for dinner tonight. This place is astoundingly good. The atmosphere is casual, great music, great vibes, nothing pretentious. The food is restrained and simple, but bursting with taste and some incredibly unique flavor combinations. The scallop crudo we had with mushroom was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. All of the seafood dishes were amazing, and even the french fries were addictive and delicious. Fantastic wine menu by the glass. And most importantly, the entire staff was kind, friendly, attentive, and made our mail feel like we were hanging out at a friend’s house.

This is a 4.5 stars for the food. I've been three times. It is pretty good. I just think the food could be just a little bit better. Don't get me wrong, we've had a few very good items and a couple OK items. The place is surprisingly affordable, for the level of dining experience. The owners are smart restaurateurs and got a Michelin star at their other store in Los Alamos. I will keep going back.

Amazing food! I always have to order the green rice and the pudding dessert was amazing! If you sit outside they are pet friendly which was a huge plus for me! Great service and delicious wine BTG!

Duck was delicious! Cool atmosphere and Texas artist, John Flaming, wall art added to the ambiance.

Delicious restaurant with farm to table ingredients and seafood focus. Came here with my parents and boyfriend for a nice dinner and we highly enjoyed ourselves. We ordered the Pacific Gold reserve oysters, boat scallop crudo, patatas bravas, BL Caesar, pan con tomate, Santa Barbara halibut, arroz verde, duck a la plancha, and the BLC snack pack (we were going all out). They portioned out the plates and there was a good rhythm. My favorites were the patatas bravas, the pan con tomate, and the BL Caesar. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The duck in particular was robust and had a nice crisp. Parking was easy and free on the street. The booth we were sitting in was on the smaller side, so we had a cozy time. Our waitress was friendly and personable.
This is a wonderful place to have lunch. The service is impeccable (they add a gratuity to the bill, but it’s well deserved) the food is wonderful. We both loved our sandwiches with the crispy chicken on the brioche bun being our favorite but we loved the crispy skin fish sandwich. We also ordered the signature fries, however, we would probably skip those next time. They were a bit salty for our taste and overhyped. Other than that we had a wonderful experience and will be back

We had not only a great meal, but wonderful experience. We tried the hamachi collar, branzino, scallops, yellowtail crudo. All were fantastic, presented beautifully and flavorful. Recommend the chocolate dessert. The staff was friendly and obviously enjoyed working together. I enjoyed the setting too!

Unmatched! The absolute BEST dinner spot in the Los Alamos, Los Olivos, Santa Ynez triangle. Don't skip the sea urchin, best there is. Fresh, simple, delicious. And the people are wonderful. Friendly, quirky, fun!

TLDR: Don’t come here if you’re pregnant.
our party of 4 was so excited to dine here but left so disappointed because of rude service.
Server was incredibly rude when we asked about options for one person in our party who was pregnant (actually made her cry).
Our reso was for 8:15 and when we sat down we were rushed and told that the kitchen was closing soon (?).
If one person in your group has a dietary restriction, then no one at the table is able to do the set menu.
Also I would recommend that if you only have 1 NA wine on the menu, maybe don’t have one with chamomile that pregnant people can’t drink.

Celebrated our 25th anniversary.
Had Reservations for their bar top @ 3:30 on a Saturday perfect time to go. Exceptional service, food exciquisite and got to see the Chef & cooks in action. Such a wonderful experience we'll be back!
Also, didn't realize an automatic 20% is added to the check because we were only a party of 2 but no matter what the party size that is their policy which is fine, but we weren't informed. You can't call them directly so I emailed and was pleasantly surprised by their immediate response and their immediate handling of the situation. That's customer service which is so very lacking these days!!! We'll be back
