2025.01.19 - Off the beaten path, but well worth the detour. A great place to catch a sunset as the outdoor seating has a great view of the ridge line on the other side of the Santa Ynez Valley. There is also a little pond with a deck over the water that a party seemed to be enjoying. The wines were good. We met a couple, professors at UCLA, that had ridden ebikes they rented in Solvang to Beckman and other vineyards in the area.
Very mixed experience… the location is beautiful and makes for a delightful visit. The wine is unremarkable and the tasting price at $30 a head is quite frankly insulting. If you can get a deal or just pop in for a single glass shared between the group worth going.
Fantastic tour of the vineyard by Kip who had so much knowledge about the winemaking process. A cracking day with a very knowledgeable man and the wines were super tasty too! Highly recommend!
