Petros Winery is somewhat of a misnomer. Located in wine country, they originally began as a tasting room until they were able to operate as a restaurant. That’s what they are.
A wonderful Greek restaurant. The cheeses are imported from Greece, hand selected by the owner.
Everything we had was above par. The ambiance and decor looks like out of a magazine. The service was friendly and attentive.
Can’t wait to go back. The Roasted Chicken was superb. Try it all.

I’m not even sure where to begin with how fantastic our experience was here. We were passing through Solvang for one night and after researching a ton, I settled on this restaurant for a nice dinner to celebrate my brother’s and my birthdays. What sealed the deal for me was that dogs were allowed. When we got to the restaurant we all immediately noticed how beautiful the setting was. There was low-lighting, a gorgeous outdoors and heating lamps to keep everyone warm. Ricardo was AMAZING. He was engaging, welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure our experience exceeded our expectations. He even greeted my dogs and had water bowls brought out for them. The food was delicious. I couldn’t put my fork down. The portions were large for and well worth the price. The other 3 felt the same way. After dinner, Ricardo brought us out a birthday dessert and chatted for a while. We really enjoyed getting to know him. The night was magical and the restaurant is one of my favorites. We will definitely be back. My family is still talking about our experience weeks later and I’ve recommended the place to everyone I know that’s thinking of driving through Solvang. If you’re on the fence about making a reservation here, do it, you won’t regret it!

Wonderful outdoor seating in a rural setting. Service was very nice and well timed. The appetizer of the various spreads with pita was very tasty, especially the cheese spread. Enjoyed the roasted chicken with Feta and my wife enjoyed the Greek meatballs.
Wow! We had been wine tasting and found Petros. Oh My Goodness! Don't miss this place if you like Greek food. It is so authentic and delicious! Ricardo was our waiter and was the kindest and sweetest guy! Good wine too but the food was the superstar!

Our family has followed this Restaurant all across the Valley. When they move... we find them as they have great food and lovely staff. Anytime we have guests or family in town.. we make it a point to round everyone up and take them to Petros for a wonderful experience. Ricardo is a Super Star, we ask for him every visit. This lunch experience was absolutely 5 star. The service from Ricardo, who recognized us (and our dog!) from our last visit over a year ago. Our red wine flight tasting was outstanding, with generous pours and a refresh pour offered at the end...we purchased 2 bottles to take home. Saganaki appetizer served with lemon wedges and toasted artisan bread was delicious. Greek meat balls (5) and lamb gyro (a special of the day) entrees were also delicious, with very generous portions. We highly recommend and will return on our next visit to Buellton and Los Olivos.
