The Kickin' Crab Lynwood

I have been coming here for years and the past year and half the shrimp has been HORRIBLE. Its over cooked 100% half the lb dissolves as ur trying to peel it the rest were to ruff that the skin is super hard to remove. Idk whats going on.

My server Josue was the worse never check in on us not once. Not even a pair of gloves or bibs to start. Didnt take our order correctly decided to put whatever seasoning and spice level he was feeling we asked for a bag so we can leave and decide to do 20 others so i just went up and asked for the bag. Mind you it wasn't packed. Never again worst service.

First time here waited about 20 mins to get seated service was okay no complain. No garlic bread but they do have pita bread. My partner was missing the shrimp and was told it was added to my bag but later server brought it to us and said that they had forgotten not to mention that he ordered crawfish and hardly any crawfish in his bag. Our bill came out to 150 for a family of four which is not bad but not worth the price. I’ve been to better sea boil places like star crab in pico and paid less. Sadly I won’t be returning but at least a try was given

Ehh places have changed over time abd this one to me has been overcrowded the times I have gone. I even orderd online to just go pick up and still waited like 1.5 hours after i got my confirmation email to pick up. When I asked for my order 30 mnts after pick up, the waitress just said it wasnt ready and that they were backed up and there wasnt anything they can do. I usually dont complain but that day was just annoying. I think that ended my time coming g to this place. The last 2 times Food seemed over cooked, my shrimp tasted mush and wasnt on point and this time was no different.

I recently visited Kickin Crab and unfortunately, I would not return to this location. The staff was pleasant and the dining room was clean when we arrived, but the overall experience was disappointing.

They were out of lemons and substituted small cups of lemon juice instead. We ordered Diet Coke, but they were out of that too. We then tried to order peach tea, and they didn’t have that either. We ended up going outside to buy canned sodas ourselves, although the waitress was kind enough to provide cups of ice.

Unlike the Kickin Crab location in Long Beach , they do not offer boiled eggs or headless shrimp, which was disappointing. We also waited about 40 minutes to get seated, and the food took quite a while to come out after ordering.

The biggest issue was the sauce. It was very thin and watery instead of thick and flavorful. To be fair, the cashiers did say that if we had sent it back, they would have fixed it, which I appreciated.

The restroom also needed attention. It didn’t smell bad, so it clearly gets cleaned, but it definitely was not recently cleaned during our visit.

Overall, the employees were friendly and tried to be helpful, but too many things were unavailable and the food quality did not meet expectations. Sadly, I would not come back to this location.

Called around 9:10 to place a pickup order as kitchen/ last call closes at 9:30 and they refused to answer my call and declined which is super unprofessional as a customer oriented business if you ask me
