We really enjoyed dinner - the Fritto Misto was excellent, breading was light with lots of flavor. I didn't need the sauce served with it, but it was also excellent. Cocktails were outstanding, the distinguished gentlemen hit the spot We ordered the branzino for two, which was very flavorful and lovely.

Excellent food and ambiance...lovely to be able to dine outside with the sounds and sight of the ocean as your view!! Service was a little slow but servers were very friendly and apologetic. Overall, would recommend and would return if ever in Malibu! :)

If i could have given zero stars about our dinner experience last night I would've. The food was HORRIBLE. tuna tartar tasted off as in it wasn't fresh and they just tried to mask it with the sauce. My seafood paella was way overcooked and the seafood was very chewy. My husband's lamb chops were also very very bad. The place was completely empty (except for 2 tables) when we got there...should have taken it as a sign! Also, there was a gentleman not that far away from us and he ordered the prime rib special and he had to send it back — that's how bad it was! I seriously felt almost sick after the meal even though I literally took only a couple of bites of my dinner! All I wanted was some good seafood..but I left feeling sick, hungry and very much disappointed.

Slow service on a Saturday night, but top-notch food and view! Would be nice if they had a plant-based entree, but their existing plant based options (grilled avocado, squash side, and pear “carpaccio”) were imaginatively presented and delicious

One star for the view. Another star for the quality of the food. Everything else was not good. Place was recommended as a great restaurant to take my wife for her birthday but the night was a disaster. Hostess was not pleasant. When we finally sat, we waited :30 minutes before anyone even said hello to us. We actually had to order drinks from the hostess. When a nearby table complained that they hadn't received any service it helped us finally get some attention as well. Food was good but came out in odd fashion. Side of fries that was supposed to be with the meal, came out with the salad. Entree didn't come out for an hour. The other couple cancelled their entree and left. We finally got ours but lost our appetite so we had them box it to take it home. Even without the entree, the waiter came by and asked if we were ready for dessert. It was bizarre. On the way home I planned to stop at another restaurant to get my wife her birthday desert but everyone was closed at this point. If they can get their service in order, this would be a good place to eat. Until then, I won't be back.

Management and our server Anthony were amazing. They went out of their way. However the food was not good apart from Branzino. My daughter's date ordered the chicken which was dry, my hisband ordered paella which was minjy in quantity and quality of the seafood. My daughter ordered the salmon which she said was ok. I also ordered oysters. These were tiny tasteless and one of them wad off. The only reason we didnt complain about the food is that we didnt want to embarras my daughters and her date. Desert was good. My husband ans i shared a bakwd in skillet choc chop cookie but not 2 inches thick at described in the menu. However the manager was amazing and went out of his way to make us comfortable. Our server Anthony was also very attentive. The mocktails were excellent. We ordered No-booze Cruz. Yummy and no alcohol wow!

A beautiful picturesque setting. He feel like you are floating on top of the Pacific Ocean. Food was well prepared and nicely plated. Service was caring. Would definitely go back next chance I am in the area.

This place has gone waaaaaaay down hills since there's been some sort of change in management. They are now downright hostile to locals. They wanted $2000 for a reservation for a table for 7. This did not include food. This was only to hold the table. And they would only offer a fixed menu because our party was to them so large. Needless to say, we went to another restaurant that valued our patronage. Food has always been just okay. One of the perks was the chocolate chip cookies that used to be on the bar. My spouse would always get one after a meal. Now they're in the check in area with a sticker that says, "Hotel Guests Only." This after a several hundred dollar meal that was "just okay." Once I was leaving after I believed I signed the check. But the waiter came running after me saying he hadn't run the card. Honest mistake. While he was running the card he said quite judge-y, "Are you from around here," as if we were trying to dine and dash! WTF has happened to this place!??? We've spent thousands of dollars here over the years. Oh, and... One more story. We got a gift card from a friend who knew we went here a lot. When we tried to use the gift card they said no $ amount was on it. We insisted that it was valid. They went off to their computer system and found it actually had $200 on it. Again, nothing like a great end to a meal than being accused of trying to pull a fast one on a restaurant we've been regulars at. We'd go for the view. We'd go because it's close. We'd go because the staff used to be nice. Never again. And we're telling all our local friends how we've been treated.

Came here with my brother a few weeks ago. Great atmosphere. You basically have to Valet ( I drive a Tesla Model 3 2023 with limo tints and a 270 mile range) and so it was nothing but a breeze. Look the food was good, the atmosphere was great. The weather was sexy. The trees were beautiful. Let's get down to the real reason I'm leaving this review. I'm Pre-Med and it's tough. If there are any physicians reading this (MD, but DO is okay too!) LET ME SHADOW PLEASE. Also, any professors doing research right now in the vicinity, I would love to do research with you. Let's be honest, I'm going to skim through your current research, pretend like I know what in the world it's talking about, email you some generic response, and hope you give me a position. Let's cut to the chase. I'm smart, I have a 3.97 GPA, but beyond that I work hard. Feel free to reach out. Cheers!

The food is horrible. Got the lobster roll and it actually made me gag, no seasoning, and no flavor whatsoever. Do yourself a favor and find a different restaurant to eat at. The most mid food I've ever tasted. The ocean view was gorgeous though I cant even lie!

I came with my family to celebrate my son's birthday , after making reservations through open table and we still have too wait for 20 minutes to our table..they ended up setting us against the wall with spider webs view This restaurant is located first line ocean view. We have asked the manager to relocate us to a different table because they have 2 available tables for three people and after we received the answer no he cannot we've left. This is the first time in my entire life that I ended up leaving with my family with no eating.
