Food well prepared, great presentation, great customer service, food was bland, very bland???
Worst fish and chips I ever had. Truly terrible! Fish was caked in crumbs and had no taste. Probably frozen stuff from Walmart is better. They said it was snapper, but I can't even be sure it was fish. Fries were drenched in oil, leaving my hands messy, although there were a lot of them. Maybe they just dumped the whole fryer into my take-out tray. For $17, I expected something more.
I have been to Ciccia many times before the pandemic. This was the first time since the beginning of lockdowns. I was expecting the same quality of food, and was sadly disappointed. We started with the calamari. This had always been a favorite dish, because in past experiences each calamari exploded with flavor. This time, all you could taste was salt and olive oil. It was not bad, but the taste of freshness in this dish was no longer there.
Great food, prices, and service! Friendly staff, super fresh fish dishes, and on Malibu Beach. For the price it doesn't get better than this!
The worst place to go, whole place and even the outside smells like fried food. When he cleaned the table with his chemical spray he intentionally sprayed on our food as well. Plus if you want to spend 30 mins on just waiting, welcome, this is the best place for you
Nothing fancy, but the food / the vibe spot on. This place has one of most delicious fish sandwiches; ordered salmon and ahi tuna and both were just super! ?
The food feels authentic and hand made let's say, and grilled. The tuna was really good, i recommend it! But i wasn't blown away, and the price was not low, the portions not big. A solid 4.
We had the fried trout and an order of fish and chips. Even at half price it would NOT have been worth while. The surf shop above and surf club next door look like great options if you are looking to go surfing.Better luck to you if you try and of those two dishes.
Great location. Great kosher food. Not cheap but it's Malibu and it's made fresh. Best French fries and sweet potato fries. Portions were great.
One of my favorite restaurants!! I love that it's a kosher restaurant on the water you don't find that anywhere and the food is soo good !! Love everything on the menu. I will never come to LA without coming here

Excellent food here. I love the fish tacos and French fries. Consistent quality and flavor on anything I purchase here.
Food was ok but didn't like the place, I guess you get what you pay for. Cashier/waiter wasn't very friendly. I got the sea bass and my husband the ahi tuna. Be aware that food is served in to-go boxes and you eat with plastic cutlery. There is a parking lot right next to this place, you need the air garage app to pay. $ 5 per hour
Fantastic food worth the $$ loved eating with the sea view
Not sure what the hype is all about — I’ve definitely had better fish much farther from the coast. Dishes are mediocre & under seasoned. If they just added salsa or some other sauce it’d be great
Very nice place overlooking ocean.( see picture below) Prices are reasonable and it is kosher and the food is delicious.
