We had a service dog with us so the restaurant seated us at a small, less-desirable table. When we asked to sit elsewhere, we were told we could not because they were concerned the dog would be in the servers' way. In truth, the location of our table was in a higher traffic area so their explanation made no sense. We were also told we could not sit elsewhere because they had 300 reservations that day, but we observed that one of the other tables we requested was vacant for at least another hour after we were seated. It is bad enough that we were treated poorly because of the dog, but even worse that the conduct was discriminatory because the dog was a service dog. I love the restaurant but we will never return because of this unfortunate event.
I have been waiting 20 years to come here and it was really worth the wait. We came for our anniversary and it was a beautiful day. The view is amazing as is the food and service (Marci was our waitress and she was excellent)!
Exquisite! A bit pricey, but worth it. Delicious food, great food, and amazing setting. We went for sunset, and it couldn't have been nicer. The valet price was very high, but parking is available on PCH, which requires a little walk down a steep hill to the restaurant
A delightful Thursday afternoon birthday lunch in beautiful Malibu in a picture perfect setting. A courteous and knowledgeable server, Lindsay, I believe. Great service & tasty foods!
Favorite restaurant in Malibu, hands down. Love everything especially the service. Hope this doesn't sound corny, but it feels like visiting family. Thank you!!
Very disappointed with this resturant. The service was terrible, food was mid. ONLY good thing is the views and atmosphere of this restaurant.

We came as a large group, and the restaurant clearly had enough space to seat us together. We were there for brunch, but were told that if we wanted to sit together, we had to pay $185 per person. I understand this type of minimum spend policy for dinner or large evening events, but it felt unreasonable for brunch. The requirement was to order three meals per person, which is simply unrealistic, and it also assumed a level of alcohol consumption that is not typical in the morning.
Because we declined the minimum spend, they seated us at three separate tables. Even though there were tables close to one another, they intentionally placed us as far apart as possible. The food itself was very basic and did not justify the pricing or restrictions.
The view, however, is absolutely stunning and was the highlight of the experience. Unfortunately, the staff had noticeable attitude and seemed intent on ensuring we did not have a good time once we refused to pay the $185 per person. Overall, the service and policies overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable brunch.

This place is absolutely fantastic! The view is incredible, and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The food here is perfect, it’s not too salty nor bland; it’s just right! Jeez, even the bathrooms are nice. I highly recommend, 100/10!!

Starting from food, it was disgusting we get filet mignon, salad , crab cakes and all of them were bad. We get also cakes which were not bad. But the service is the worst ever, both the manager and the waiters were trying to get more money that we spent. They give me wrong bill, there was dishes in a bill that i didn’t get and there was 100$ difference with the correct one. Then they give me the correct one and i want to give them custom tip, and they tell me that i can’t i have to choose 18% or 20%. Which is not fair to me because in app it says that if we are 6 and more only in that case i have to tip 18%. And we were just 2 of us. So the worst service there and they make the atmosphere bad as well. Only good one there is the view, but it’s better to choose another restaurant with the ocean view. We were celebrating birthday and they make us nervous. They were trying to steal money!!!😡
This long text is for you guys, don’t go there and waste both your time and money.

So incredibly mediocre and unreasonably expensive for the quality of food. Step it up Geoffrey’s, gone are the days an ocean view is worth bang average food.

The Chilean Sea Bass at Geoffrey’s Malibu is pure coastal luxury. Perfectly bronzed on the outside, impossibly buttery within, it melts at the touch of a fork like it knows it belongs there. The silky beurre blanc adds just enough decadence without stealing the spotlight, while the ocean view does the rest. This isn’t dinner... it’s a Malibu moment.

We celebrate every major occasion at Geoffrey's and bring all our out-of-town guests here—it's truly our go-to spot. This Thanksgiving was perfect, as always. The food was exceptional, the service outstanding, and the atmosphere unbeatable. And a special shout-out to the valet team, who are absolute magicians with the cars. Highly recommend!
