Howdys is always the first place I visit whenever I come to Los Angeles. The seafood in the dishes is always fresh and plentiful and I love the Japanese-Mexican fusion. My personal favorite is the yellowtail burrito!
The staff is warm and welcoming and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. I would strongly recommend this Malibu cornerstone to anyone who visits the city.
Had the shrimp 🍤 and lobster 🦞 tacos. Both had great flavors, and the tacos were full of seafood. Fast and great service.
Howdy’s rocks! At all levels! So good. 😊👍
Been here probably 100 times! Never had a bad meal. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Shout out to everyone for excellent service as well.
Great food and atmosphere! Love going to Howdy’s!
The service was great but the food was very bland, and overpriced. I ordered the chilaquiles, I got two small eggs over easy on top of chips, salsa, and a drizzle of sourcream. The chips were dry they didn't have salsa on them or cheese. The food didn't seem to have any salt. A coffee and chilaquiles came out to about $20. I will not be going back there and I do not reccomend it to anyone.
These shrimp taco and shrimp burrito!!!!! Made my day
Staff is wonderful and the food is great. One of those places you come back to repeatedly to try everything on the menu.
The Poké bowl was so fresh with giant chunks of raw fish and the best marinated vegetables. Really one of the best Poké bowls I’ve ever had. It’s about twice the cost of a normal Poké bowl, but well worth it.

Ordered a Baja Fish Taco and Fish Ceviche. Taco was ok, very similar to late night fastfood when you want something to get rid of your hunger. Did it's job I guess. Couldn't eat the ceviche at all. Was extremely fishy (in a bad way) as if it has gone bad. Gave it to a friend to try in case I was overreacting and he agreed and threw it away. Not worth the price at all. I wouldn't come back.
On the other hand, the cashier was very friendly and it's in a nice and lively area.

Good food and variety. Portions are a little small and expensive to competition, though.
Parking: Free parking, but can fill up fast on weekends and rush hours.
