My server was not attentive at all. My table did you not get bread until we had ordered our food, which we expected when we first sat down as we had been waiting for 30 minutes after our reservation to be seated. It was my birthday and normally you receive ice cream and a candle; which I did not get but other tables did. He only came to check on us once. Would not recommend this place.

Malibu's finest by Far! The attention to detail from the ambient lighting to their out of this world Martini's, the multitude of dipping sauces for your Steak, and their incredible bread basket. Lucky's gives you an experience beyond just your meal.

Our dinner at Lucky's in Malibu was absolutely delicious! The hostess was gracious and our server Giselle was friendly, attentive, and offered great dinner recommendations. The food was excellent, and the service and staff made the whole experience so enjoyable. We've already booked another reservation.

What a wonderful dining experience in Malibu! From start to finish, the service, food, and dessert were all excellent. I was pleasantly surprised at how good everything was — the quality, presentation, and attention to detail really stood out. Lucky's Malibu exceeded my expectations and made for an enjoyable, relaxed evening by the coast. I'd definitely return and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Excellent service. Good preparation was also terrific. Corkage at $50 per bottle is high. Rib eye steak was limited on the menu. Hamburger at $27 is high. Meatloaf was priced at $48 and was tasty but a little too dry.

Food is always on point. But it's the service that sets the tone for a great night. Well done!

We came to celebrate my husband's birthday and showed up on time for our 8pm reservation. We checked in with a hostess and they let us know that we would be seated shortly. 20 minutes went by, 30 minutes went by finally at 40 minutes after our reservation time we went asking what is going on and they said that the table would not get up. I feel like they should've been more assertive earlier on. They had also told us we were being seated elsewhere that cleared out earlier. We were finally seated at 8:55, almost an hour after our reservation time. The waitress was nice and service was fine. They sent out a tray of desserts at the end on the house but it was 10:45pm and I'm guessing it was the leftover desserts from the day since they were almost closed. They were just okay (the crème brûlée was not set and almost oily looking). For a $1300 dinner (9 of us), I wish it was a better experience.

There were too many flies, getting into my food, which made my date not very good and I couldn't enjoy my food. UnfortunatelyI don't think I will be coming back

Lucky’s Malibu is definitely a high-end American restaurant, and it lives up to its reputation in terms of elegant interior and overall classy atmosphere. The food itself was excellent, and the service was friendly when we did get to interact with our server.

However, there were some things that took away from the experience. We had to wait quite a while before being seated, and after all that waiting, we were placed in a very awkward spot—almost like a side alley where servers were constantly passing by but not really able to stop at our table easily. Because of that, we often couldn’t get proper attention from our server, and it was hard to even make eye contact when we needed something.

Even though our server was polite when present, the overall service felt lacking given the level of the restaurant. On top of that, the expectation for tipping felt a bit excessive, which left us with mixed feelings.

That being said, the food was still very satisfying, and I can see why this place is popular. But for the price point and reputation, I had hoped for a smoother dining experience.

DO NOT REMOVD MY REVIEW.

Waitress did not offer brunch pastries. Needed to ask when she offered it to all her other tables.

Four of us had lunch here an two of us ordered the lucky salad which was terribly disappointing. There was hardly any shrimp (they may have cuts up 1.5 shrimps), less than 1/8 of an avocado and maybe 1 tablespoon of bleu cheese. So basically we spent $25 for a bowl of lettuce with minuscule toppings. We all walked away hungry and disappointed. I'd go back for a sandwich or steak but never again for a salad.
