Malibu Farm Pier Cafe

Good food, good service, pretty atmosphere. Sea and surf and sand and clam chowder – what could be bad. and delicious fish tacos.

Malibu Farm on the Pier is one of my favorite spots in town — fresh food, gorgeous views, and that quintessential Malibu coastal atmosphere. I often bring clients and friends here because the setting really captures the lifestyle people fall in love with when they think of Malibu. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or a late afternoon stop, Malibu Farm is always consistent, relaxed, and such a beautiful place to unwind.

Came to the Malibu Farm restaurant for quick bite to eat and a coffee while driving through Malibu. There is lots of parking next to the pier and this place has a great view of Malibu beach and the sunset. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere here is great. Very relaxed and very nice.

The tacos are visually very appealing but rather mediocre in taste. The prices are clearly too high for that. You pay for the location here.

The location is nice being on the pier. But to know that you do not see the sunset. For me it is an expensive place with low average quality, I would not go back for food while for the beee there is a limited supply anyway

Just went for brunch, while sitting there a rat ran between our legs! Told a member of staff and he said ‘Oh’ unfortunately we could not enjoy our food after that and couldn’t wait to leave. I would have expected staff to have reacted a bit more

Malibu Farm was everything we hoped for — and more. The view, the atmosphere, and the food were all perfectly aligned with the spirit of the place. We sat outside, felt the ocean breeze, and enjoyed every bite with our family. The service was friendly and smooth (shoutout to our awesome waiter!), and everything felt fresh, natural, and full of light. A place to relax, connect, and be present. We’ll definitely be back!

We've only had one coffee and tea on the pier. Great to have a drink in Malibu. We haven't eaten. The car was left on the main road.

Great place to have lunch and with a view of the ocean, Malibu beach all the while listening to the waves. The food was great and the service was great but a little slow at first. The parking is a bit of pain. The stalls are too close together. The walk on the pier afterwards was great although a smaller pier in comparison to others. There is also a small gift store just as you come in from the parking lot.

I took the Metro bus 134 from Santa Monica to Malibu, as this is the only way to easily get to Malibu. I doesn't stop between Santa Monica and the Pier. Taking the freeway to Las Virgenes/ Malibu Canyon takes well over an hour to an hour and a half. I stopped in at Malibu Farms for lunch and had a nice view of the surfers riding the swells over at Surfrider Beach. For lunch I ordered a beer and the loaded nachos. The waiter asked me if I'd like to add avocado and jalepeno, but didn't warn me about the fact they would be extra (and not cheap). While it was very good and filing, this was the most expensive lunch I think I've ever had. $51.26 before tip. Service was good, there were several flies buzzing around, as the entry did not have an air curtain, and the view can't be beat. In the future I would probably just stop in for a coffee drink. These were about $6-9.

What a wonderful restaurant. Delicious food. Lobster Roll madness, Swedish Mini Pancakes beautiful and delicious. Offers food with healthy ingredients. Very friendly staff, I support a very friendly gentleman from El Salvador, I regret not asking his name. My visit was at approximately 11am, a suitable time to have an unforgettable experience. Very nice atmosphere and an unparalleled view. A place I'd come back to again and again, and once again.

This place was on the Malibu Pier and somehow we lucked out and got a table without waiting right overlooking the water. Before eating we stopped at the shop at the end of the pier and the store attendant complimented my smile so 6/5 stars for him. Our intent was for a light lunch so we ordered the crab cake, oysters, and ceviche along with a pot of tea and two bloody Mary’s. The only regret was not staying longer (we had other plans to attend to) because the vibe was perfect and the weather was great. This was in December.
