My favorite spot in LA, slightly above Roscoes. Always loved driving the PCH to my favorite biker bar for some beers and awesome sea food. The number of friends I have taken here is in the dozens. Love the Net.
There's a special place in my heart for Neptune's Net. When I was stationed at Pt. Mugu from 2004-07 my wife and I were young parents with two young boys. I deployed about every ten months and life and marriage were both hard. I cherished my time at home and one of the first places we'd go as a family was Neptune's net for great food and a beautiful view of the sunset. Any time family visited us from Northern California or Illinois we took them there to get a taste of So Cal. Eat here. You won't regret a second of it.

Take the beautiful coastal drive to Neptune's Net, it's worth it just for the views. Situated across the street from beach, this roadhouse is a charming remnant of the type of restaurant that was prevalent back in the mid 20th century. Counter service, outdoor seating, grab your beverage from a HUGE selection (a really great selection of California and other craft beers is impressive) order at the counter and wait for them to call your name. I don't know anything about clam chowder, but the chowder I got here was very good, also the crab cakes. Motorcycle parking in front, a large parking lot, many spaces shaded next to the restaurant. FYI for fussy people, the restrooms are just portolets out back. I really enjoyed my visit to Neptune's Net and hope to go back soon and try more of the menu.

Came here after a crazy hiking on Santa Monica Mountain on one of the hottest days. Whatever was delicious if you are hungry.
I was willing to give a try because lots of movies were shot here.
I now don’t have any bud-memory, However I had a great time in one of the most amazingly beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen.
Neptune’s Net is a laid-back, iconic seafood spot with unbeatable ocean views. Known for its fresh, no-frills menu, highlights include fried seafood baskets, clam chowder, and steamed shellfish.
The casual, beachy vibe makes it a favorite for bikers, surfers, and locals looking for a relaxed meal by the Pacific. While parking can get crowded, the atmosphere and food are worth it.
Perfect for a scenic, casual seafood feast with Malibu charm.

The PA system is super annoying. Every 30 seconds you hear very loudly them frantically shouting out orders to pickup…. Loud bike noises racing off like a fugitive on the run all throughout our meal. Not a classy place to bring grandma for a Sunday meal. I think you could catch Hepatits from using the bathrooms.

Does seafood is absolutely fresh. Their tasting menu is fit for four people. There were fresh oysters too. Their fish and chips were delicious and their squid rings were heavenly.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarians not recommended.
Parking: Very near the beach and next to the Pacific Coast highway.
Kid-friendliness: It is a delicious dinner and extra friendly to children.
Wheelchair accessibility: Large tables with enough space to accommodate two wheelchairs per table.

Old school since 1956. I was here on a Sunday before noon and it wasn’t crowded. Super fast service when I ordered clam chowder in a bread bowl.

I may be biased here since my idea of a seafood restaurant on the beach as having a wide variety of locally caught seafood. They had some local seafood but from what I could tell the majority was not. Aside from that the food I ordered was good but I ordered two meals to fill up. (Fish tacos and a calamari basket)
View was great.

I've been wanting to go to this place since the movie and finally got the chance. Great location and spectacular views and atmosphere ? food was ok. i was expecting a little more from a place in Malibu, but it was ok. I got fish and chips, and my fiance got the chicken sandwich and I felt bat cause hers was not good at all, and mine was meh. Did love the place vibes and location it's a very nice spot.

Been going to this spot for the past 6-7 years and have yet to be disappointed! Service is always on point whether it's crowded or not. Always a great place to sit back, relax, and take in the view with a beverage and seafood. I highly recommend the shrimp basket and/or their fish tacos with side of fries.
