First time at Nobu and decided to take my date here, so both of our first times actually. We were seated quite quickly after confirming our reservation and had a nice view of the ocean. We were given the drink and menu as we sat down however, we waited around 6-8 minutes for any waiter to even come up and ask us anything about the menu. It was after we asked a passing busboy for our waiter were we acknowledged. Besides that, the food was not bad but I wouldn't say it is worth it for the price. The view and overall feeling of eating outside was very good. All in all, only worth it for the view in my opinion, but then again, the beach and pier are free.
The food was creative and delicious. The setting over the ocean is incomparable. Service was excellent. A truly special restaurant.
The restaurant and the ambience with the music in the background are excellent. What bothered us a bit was the fact that we had to wait 15 minutes for the table, even though we had made a reservation and were there on time
Worth the wait to get a table at this very trendy place. Beautiful patio dining Oceanside, we were treated to a dolphin show right off shore. The food is sublime. The yellowtail jalapeño and the hot stone Waygu are both worth every penny. Friendly efficient service rounds out a perfect dining experience.
We chose Nobu to celebrate my husband's birthday, expecting the kind of polished, intentional hospitality that defines fine dining. Instead, the experience felt hurried and transactional. Dishes arrived in a rush — nearly everything within thirty minutes — leaving no space to savor the meal or the occasion. Before we had settled into the evening, we were subtly made to feel that the table was needed back. A birthday dinner should feel unhurried and special. This felt more like a high-volume chain turning tables than the refined experience Nobu is known for. I canceled the additional reservations I had planned and would not return.
Our server was very much rude and was not present when really needed. The ambiance was great but terrible experience.
The tranquillity of the waves makes this place a hit, worth the view and ambiance

This is my third Nobu to visit, and it was an all-around lovely experience. Service was very high-end without being pretentious. The server was very knowledgeable of the menu and directed us towards some great decisions that treated us to an array of flavors across the menu. As always, the food is high quality. The atmosphere is unique from other locations. We were all mesmerized by the crashing waves and resulting mist in the air. The woodburning fireplace is an idyllic addition to the oceanside evening atmosphere. Overall, it was an experience to be enjoyed and remembered.

I typically enjoy Nobu, but our most recent visit was disappointing. Given the cost, we expect better service. Our server was inattentive, admitted to delays in placing our orders, and still rushed us to accommodate another reservation. Although the food was excellent, we felt pressured to leave and finished our dessert cocktails on the patio near the entrance. I would not have minded the slower service had we not been rushed. I still recommend Nobu, as this experience is not reflective of their usual standard.

I arrived around 4 pm. The receptionist said there were no tables with a view because they were reserved! I left at 6 pm and nobody sat at the tables she wouldn't let me sit at. It was my birthday, the experience was terrible. The food is good, but overpriced for what they offer! It definitely only has a nice view, don't go.

Food was fabulous, service and atmosphere was poor. We were sat 30 minutes after our reservation, didn't get our first drink for 20 more minutes after that (and they had made clear we would have the table for a set amount of time when we made the reservation). The bar area we had to wait in was overcrowded and we had to stand in the corner to allow a small walkway for the staff to get though and didn't have a chance to get drinks while we waited because it was so crowded. We had a lovely table overlooking the water and sunset but were bumped into by various people squeezing past us to take photos and videos of the sunset. We booked this for our 6 year anniversary and were disappointed overall.
Beautiful food with a beautiful view. The staff was lovely from start to finish. Will be back soon!
Had a great meal and great service, ... really nice people, super cool place with good vibes and cool folks. Food was very good, was it amazing, no ... but happy we went, really fun night, just the good was very, very good .... not as amazing as we expected. We have been to several Nobu's and this was just very good on the food size ... didn't blow us away. We'd still go back, had a great evening ... 5 for most everything, 4 on the food. Great night.
The black cod was exceptionally delectable, and my mother, who accompanied me, thoroughly enjoyed the apple pie.
The food was delicious Customer service was horrible no accommodations for it being a special day a birthday I couldn't get a ocean view and that was the whole reason my reservation was so early to enjoy it and they did not wanna let me sit and enjoy the ocean view made me wait another 45 minutes for a couch I would rate customer service one star but the food was 10 out of 10
